Hasn't happened in awhile...

Today I got banned from a zombies server because I killed the admin. Cool story. Yes it's going to be one of those threads. It happened on one of the Alpha Team Gamers zombies servers. Those guys are awesome sauce. Sigh. So in the first game, I was a zombie on Death Island. Humans in the water, and I was croutching towards some humans in the water, slowly bit by bit. Just as I've gotten very close, about to stand up and pounce, I get kicked. OK. BTW, this admin had been doing a lot of stuff like giving out invisibility to people, overshields, and he reset the game a few times, which was annoying. So after getting kicked, I come back into the server and ask why I was kicked. "lol, y was i kicked?" He said I was afk. I ask him, are you sure. He says, no that's what the server said. Long story short: I kinda berated him. I didn't swear, but just sort of drove the point home that he kicked me without cause. He didn't say a word. We enter the next game, and we are both human. I ran by him and meleed him on the head, whatever. He doesn't say anything, I don't say anything, and time goes by. Later he is infected. We have a close encounter, I have a shotgun, he dies, and INSTABAN! So, yeah, I take responsibility for agitating him a bit, but all's I'm sayin' is that banning someone from a server because you got pwnd in a frustrating manner is about as low as it gets. It's like taking your ball and going home because you got beat. And if anyone from Alpha Team Gamers reads this forum, this guy was playing as "Hercules." [Edited on 06.26.2012 3:50 PM PDT]

There are enough people on Halo: Combat Evolved 1.09, Halo: Combat Evolved 1.04, Halo Custom Edition 1.09 and Halo Custom Edition 1.00 to fill several good servers but they insist on filling 16 player servers dedicated to either Sniper CTF, Infected or Rocket matches.
I think the amount of people playing does have some effect on the issue. See many of the people that used to play who became skilled players and skilled admins are gone now most of the time and don't play as much any more. Thus the imbeciles and noobs with "bad taste" who can't handle the lead are left to take over and make bad servers with bad gametypes.
It's a shame really, to improve and get used to the lead, one must keep trying (even if it means getting beat badly). I've finally gotten the hang of leading shots and Halo PC becomes far more enjoyable. It's just most people expect to be good out of the box and if they die alot, they'll resort to explosives (infinite grenades anyone?) or Rockets. Maybe someone should run a teaching server? I joke of course..
Yeah. I can lead pretty well and I still get killed a lot. My ratio is not negative but it usually is 1:1 which is like a 500 record. But, as you stated, they can't get better at it unless they learn how to lead. I understand that the lead can be frustrating for some of the new players. They're definitely used to playing games where there isn't a netcode problem. And I think by the time they get used to the lead Halo 1 PC will be dead. I believe they realize that and therefore don't care to learn how to lead. Thus they make servers with bad gametypes. But banning players for kicking your ass because they have been playing longer and know how to lead is dickish. And as I said before it's not worth playing on such servers with dickish admins. As for me I just stick to the servers with good classic style gametypes that have good, honest, and fair admins who don't bother banning people unless they really deserve it.
