For having red lightsabers? For wearing black robes? They're allowed to feel passion and attachement? If anything, the Jedi are evil for denying themselves those things. And Darth Plageuis for instance, he wanted to preserve life. What's so evil about that?

Star Wars is kind of stupid in that sense; it makes it seem like "bad guys" are just people that love dangling around their saber-peens and shooting lightening out of their hands. They have no story or humanity behind them. I suppose that Anakin was closer in that sense (because he became dark for love), but even there he did things that didn't have to be done. Especially looking back at the Anakin situation, I think it's a little stupid how he essentially panicked when he found out that Padme might die. He was obviously fearful of telling the Jedi, but they're loving and understanding. He may have been removed from the order (worst case), but he still would have had counciling and help.
