Is it right for Obama Administration to attack Romney supporters?

I came across this article on several websites this week, about how Obama and his supporters are now attacking those that donate money to the Romney campaign.
I have mixed feelings about this, because I do not think either side should ever go after the supporters of a particular candidate. I find that similar to voter intimidation.
Politics in this day and age have gotten so nasty, that it is almost un-watchable to see the tactics used in 2012.

Those aren't Romney donors. They are donors to a "superpac." And since superpacs are allowed to take unlimited money from people, it is important that people know where and who this money is coming from. Superpacs are legally required to have absolutely no coordination with any political campaigns. They are not Romney donors. Not only are they not Romney donors, they are NOT donating to the Romney campaign. Please understand the difference between the campaign donations and the superpac donations.
