Pro Sports Teams
The best time of the year is almost here! Football season is looming and with that, Basketball season is also closer. The baseball season is winding down and the playoff season is upon us. With that being said, who are your favorite sports teams and why?
For me:
MLB - The Atlanta Braves. I grew up watching them on TBS almost every day and Chipper Jones was in his prime. Chipper is my all time sports hero.
NFL - The Dallas Cowboys. I also grew up watching this team in the 90's. This was back when they had Emmit Smith and Troy Aikman. Needless to say, that was during their golden times, so I've been a fan since I was little and I always will be a fan.
NBA - Indiana Pacers and Oklahoma City Thunder. The Pacers I also grew up watching and I loved Reggie Miller. (As you can see, I stick with teams.) The Thunder I started liking as soon as they switched over. I am a huge KD fan and really like Russell Westbrook so it made sense to adopt them as my Western team.

MLB - St. Louis NBA - Bulls EPL (English Soccer) - Manchester United Live southern Illinois so we're closer to St. Louis and Indianapolis than Chicago, but it was really hard to be a kid growing up in the 90's and not be a huge Jordan fan so i'm a Bulls fan, don't really follow the pros, I'm more about my Illinois Fighting Illini. Also started watching soccer some years ago and stuck with Man United.

My dad grew up in Philadelphia and we live only a half-hour away in South Jersey, so I've been rooting for all Philadelphia teams since I was little (except the Sixers, because I couldn't care less about the NBA. College hoops is where it's at). And now the Phillies' organization is totally -blam!-ed so I just stopped paying attention to baseball this year. So it's mostly just the Eagles and the Flyers that I watch and care about. Alternates: NFL- New Orleans Saints. I like their logo. Plus Drew Brees is dreamy. This was unfortunate when they defeated my team in the playoffs last year. MLB- Toronto Blue Jays. I've been to their stadium before and it's the team the Phillies got Roy Halladay from. NHL- Anaheim Ducks. Why the -blam!- do you think?

On topic- I'm a rugby man, Munster being my local team.

I can't tell you the last time I sat down and watched any of the sports listed above...
