sqlite db via platform manifest

I am new to the discovery of the bungie.net platform. I have seen various links to cool stuff like functional api's and the endpoint list. What I am trying to do is parse through all the weapons and record their stats. Seems like the best way to do this is use the sqlite db i have heard some people talking about. I downloaded but when trying to open i get the file encrypted message (SQLiteSpy). Does anyone have the password?
