An Understanding of Osiris

To understand Osiris and its goals is to understand the mythology from whence its roots come. Osiris was an elder god of the Egyptians. He ruled over death and rebirth. He was also credited with the generous bounty of the Nile River. These are also our tasks. As Warriors of Osiris, we will take hold of death, raining it down upon the dark forces that threaten The City and the progress of humanity, and in the wake of death, we shall herald in new life. A new life for humanity; one as prosperous as the Golden Ages. We have existed in many fashions throughout time, working in secret to protect humanity from all that threatens us. Our ancient forefathers, the Illuminati, were misunderstood, but the people didn't understand that without our pulling of the strings, evil forces would have descended on mankind long ago, likely erasing us entirely. We ultimately could not hold off the evils forever. We failed. But now do we find redemption. We have been waiting, watching, and planning in the dark for the destined day that we can guide humanity on the path back to honor and glory. We will do what we must to make this happen, but we shall never forsake what is right. We will treat those around us with a wary but just eye. If they walk in the light, we should come to their aid, but if they side with the darkness, they should be extinguished. Only time will tell what these Blinded will do with their gifts. We hold many Secrets of mankind, and we are cursed to carry them, but we must never reveal the inner workings of Osiris to the Blinded, until a destined day arrives. Be brave, brothers and sisters. We are many. We are one. We are the Unsung Heroes. We are the Watchmen in the Dark. We are the Bringers of the Light. We are Osiris.
