Well, it was a good run

But I have traded the Cobra in. It was 13 years old and things were going to start getting too costly to keep it up as it would have required for a DD. -The rear window leaked in the rain -I had made one grievous error I have never made before. The old oil filter seal stuck to the block, and I didn't check before installing the new one.... As you may have guessed, oil everywhere after I started it. It wounded the engine, my guess a rod bearing. It rattled., lost power, and was the deciding factor. It will make someone a good, fun car after they do some work to it. I just couldn't rationalize spending the amount it would take to make it right again as opposed to getting something newer. Well, after about 4 months of agonizing over this, searching for a suitable replacement, I have come to the conclusion and purchase of... BUT, the thing does get up and go. Other wise it wouldn't have even been considered. I have been and even had a Ford dealer friend of mine looking for a late model GT convertible, or just a GT. Nothing has come up anywhere near my area. Now then, I and my youngest son have already started the process of making it 'ours' (mine). We painted the brake caliper black last night, just like I did on the Cobra. They just look better that way. I'm already searching options on CAI's and cat backs. The stereo is lacking compared to what I'm used to with the Mach 460 the Cobra had, so I'm checking out speaker and amp options too. THERE WILL BE ANOTHER MUSTANG IN MY FUTURE. Just not for a couple years. Unless this car ends up pissing me off somehow.
