Parallels between Slayer, and the world of Destiny

Link is to the full lyrics, for easier, unabridged reading. So i was just lying awake listening to music, thinking about how badass this game is going to be, and this song (South of Heaven by Slayer) comes on, and i could't help but notice some eerie similarities to the story of destiny, and what we know about it so far. Here is my analysis, verse by verse. feel free to add to what i've noticed, and voice your own opinions. An unforseen future nestled somewhere in time. >> after watching the Secrets of the Collapse vid that Killworthy put out, i noticed that in the Rasputin log, there is a note about the event (arrival of the darkness/traveler) originated outside of the normal flow of time Unsuspecting victims no warnings, no signs.>> This verse would allude to the colonies, humans in general caught unaware by the sudden collapse Judgment day the second coming arrives.>> Reference to the re-awakening of the traveler, or the return of the darkness Before you see the light you must die.>> All Guardians are resurrected, having to die once before being able to wield the traveler's light. Forgotten children, conform a new faith, Avidity and lust controlled by hate. (The) Never ending search for your shattered sanity, Souls of Damnation in their own reality.>> This bit could be interpreted as being about any number of enemy races, but the best bet in my mind is the hive. why? well the idea that they are zombified Fallen sounds good to me, and the infection and black magick they are said to have goes well with the forgotten childeren (of the fallen) and new faith. the rest pretty much speaks for itself if the topic is zombies in space. Chaos rampant, An age of distrust. Confrontations. Impulsive habitat. Bastard sons begat your -blam!-ing daughters, Promiscuous mothers with your incestuous fathers. Engreat souls condemned for all eternity, Obtained by immoral observance a domineering deity.>> dark origins of foe races? >.> Chaos rampant, An age of distrust. Confrontations. Impulsive sabbath.>> sounds like the post-collapse solar system The root of all evil is the heart of a black soul. A force that has lived all eternity. The never ending search for a truth never told. The loss of all hope and your dignity. >> Another reference to the darkness, and its will to destroy.. something? as long as the darkness is portrayed as being evil, i will keep saying it has evil intent.
