New trailer Traler Hidden messeges?(Heres what i found)
Hello kill worthy gamers! In the first few minutes we are briefly flashed 3 images of accessory's that are on the three classes...
Warlock-

On the Warlocks accessory there is an image of a bunny, along with some Chinese characters.
I did some searching and found that the first character, means Jade, as in jewel, and the second character means Rabbit.
From there searched Jade Rabbit in Google and the first link that came up was "Moon Rabbit" On Wikipedia, upon reading the wiki I learned that The Moon Rabbit, also dubbed Jade Rabbit is East Asian folklore (Based on the supposed pattern of a rabbit and mortar on the moons surface) for a Rabbit that lives on the moon forever pounding at the elixir of life.
(Its also worth noting is that the Jade Rabbit is also the name of a Chinese lunar rover that sent out a dying message some time ago)

The Hunter's accessory is a 8 Ball. Nothing seemingly hidden there.
Titan-

The titan's image is not of an accessory but of a gun which has the words. "We come in peace" as well as tally marks that total to the number 57.
Though the way the tally marks are lined up the number could also read; 25-25-7
I took this along with the 8 ball and searched The following,

Right after the Google math which equals -49 there is a link that says, Isaiah 25:7-8 - Bible Study Tools. I clicked on it, and it a direct quote from Isaiah 25:7-8, a quote which reads, "7 On this mountain he will destroy the shroud that enfolds all peoples, the sheet that covers all nations; 8 he will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove the disgrace of his people from all the earth. The LORD has spoken. "
So.... speculation? What do you guys think, is this all random coincidence? Is any of it significant at all?

4 Repliesthe items are a reference to the characters. The warlocks study the travelers power to unlock its secrets, ergo they lust for immortality. In some versions of the Chinese mythology, the Jade Rabbit was banished to the moon for stealing the secret of immortality from the gods for fear it would give it to mortals. the Lucky 8 Ball is exactly that. Hunters believe in luck, and with luck they forge their own paths through the wilderness. With luck, they will Become Legend. the inscription on the Titans shotgun should be fairly self-explanatory. We come in peace is an iconic phrase thought to be either the first contact we would have when visiting an alien world, or that aliens would say to us when visiting our world. The irony is that he clearly does not "come in peace". I don't think there is anything more significance to the items than that, besides that the Jade Rabbit was also an emblem that could be earned in the Beta. The other two items may make an appearance in the full version as well.d But I think it was mostly just so we could understand their characters a little better for the two minutes we got to see them. Fairly standard character building schtick

Could be an awesome discovery into the lore of Destiny or just all a coincidence that you made. I know the jade rabbit plays out in a map somewhere but I also know there is reference to gods in some levels so that could play out to. All in all that's what I like about Destiny and the only thing to get out of it is [spoiler]Half Life 3 is confirmed[/spoiler]

And the person was a girl too, maybe references to Alice in wonderland??? Strething here

Also funny at the end when the 3 ask "what you think is down there?" and the ghost replies "death"... during the Beta my 7 year old was watching me play and was asking questions about destiny, mostly whats over there? whats in that cave ? What happens when you go in there? my answer invariably was also " death" Just a personal funny moment.

My thoughts are that these are just scraps of golden age culture that they have come across and like. Meaningless junk that they think it's cool and makes then a little different. Kind of like in demolition man when Sandra bullock's character collects all 90's memorabilia.

Would make a tiny bit of sense considering the first zone is old russia also if they are in order but swapped for Lat and long its in the northern part of India.
