The Vault Of Change, Dreams, & Destiny (A Fan Made Story) 5-7

We decided it was time to press on & so we did. We came to The Throne Room door which had a strange triangle marking on it, upon it’s opening The Glass Throne was revealed & it seemed Court was in session as many unique Vex were gathered under The Great Triangle Glass Throne however The Vex did not take immediate note of our presence which allowed us time to take cover behind the stair-case to the door & discuss. RPG who rarely speaks was the first “So that would be The Glass Throne? Every shift seems to be a ceaseless calculation over the universe which I assume you all can sense as well, it is rumored glass can serve as a processing circuit not to mention the triangle form could purely be mathematical, by that I believe The Throne is possibly a super computer....” I agreed with him & I added we should take little chance in their & that we should exterminate The Vex with over-whelming force especially since these Vex looked like a unique sub-class of Vex which the others agreed with. We made the following plan: We would make a stand at the stair-case using sniper rifles & for those who could would use Gjallarhorn which was SOCD, Zac & myself, first we would eliminate The Gate Keeper in the center then move into the room & exterminate additional Vex. We launched the assault & thus began the first phase of the final battle. The gate-keeper was destroyed in roughly a minute & we moved into The Throne Room gunning down The Vex we all moved in unison to the left side & realized their was a sync plate, we began to raise it while it was raising we decided SOCD & Zac would go in the portal while the others would remain outside the portal. It raised & they went it, upon entering they reported another Gate Keeper, other Vex, & unique Pratorians in a desert/Mars looking place similar to The Throne Room with-in the left gate. They moved up destroying them & focused fire on The Gate Keeper, on our side we faced Vex & Pratorians as well, upon The Gate Keeper’s demise inside, a shield appeared which Zac took & they began to run to the exit & they reported they’re vision was darkening as they ran towards the exit, once out Zac cleansed just as Rose had done. We saw a Central Conflux appear I called out I would go to it & RPG would accompany me, the others would go to the next gate & see what lie their which Sithiny & Rose would guard as Zac & SOCD went in once more. As they entered things became very intense & they tried to rush inside, they reported another Gate Keeper with Vex in a Grassy/Venus like place also similar to The Throne Room. They destroyed them as they moved up & SOCD took the appearing shield, they made it out, & all were ordered to The Central Conflux, as we defended it from The Legion the portals opened on they’re own & appeared the mentioned unique Pratorians, Zac & SOCD instantly moved to engage them & the battle raged for about 2 endless minutes give or take. Eventually the portals closed, The Vex fell to the ground silent, & the relic’s left departing gifts however this time the gifts were sent to our ghosts & our inventory rather then us directly then soon we saw why. We turned to face up the stair-case to under the center of The Glass Throne & a odd purple & white light appeared baring a pressure that made the room feel heavier, the air stired with-in the room, time seemed to distort slightly & the universe itself seemed to turn to observe. Out of the false light formed a massive entity of glass which rose up with weapon in hand & before us at the top of the stair-case stood a God Machine, Atheon himself. The final battle had begun & Atheon spoke with a thunder like mechanical Vex tone & took a step forward making the room shake. We reacted & split into 3’s, 3 falling back along the left side & 3 falling back along the right side of the room & we all knew the time was now to act, in simplicity Atheon had to be expunged from our world by force.
