Radial: Public info thread!

We are Forever Untitled Studios an unknown, at the moment, indie studio beginning our first official project!! Everything is being coded from scratch to be a 2D based platformer. All current details will be listed below in their respective categories. Want to know mechanics? Here you are! Anything you want added here just comment down below! [spoiler]-2D-platformer -basic player movement: -left,right,jump -advanced player movement: -wall-jump -ledge grab -basic climbing -specific blocks allow wall jumps/grabs -look for vines ;) -push-able blocks -iffy at the moment with current collisions but it works -basic pet -follows you -dies permanently if you get it killed -platforms you can drop through -gave problems at first but works perfectly now -death blocks -ability to reset map -for testing only -We will be building the main story in the level editor that'll come in the box for you guys to use! --Idea seeded by Dylanater11-- -story/custom story maps are stored in packs, they hold all resources (textures,sounds,and code) needed for the levels to function properly making the game highly moddable[/spoiler] Interact-able objects! (buttons,traps,etc.) [spoiler]-push-able blocks -fall, affected by gravity, ect. -buttons/trap components not yet worked on -the level editor will allow you to edit block properties creating any type of object you can imagine! -edits will be made to the game's base type of tile, we'll also make some other varieties through the editor to show flexibility to make many different effects --Idea branched from the tree of ideas by Dylanater11--[/spoiler] Artsy stuff!!! (colors, art-themes, world style) [spoiler]-castle/dungeony look -turquoise and lavender are major colors -heavily sprited/detailed animations -sick wubs for Sprungli -tons of gear found in the world -awesomely sprited enemy magic effects -epic bosses -Summit's T-rex/tiger/dragon/unicorn thing XD -The RollRick by Castiel Harkness -Strogger the random encounter boss by Strogger (sorry if misspelled, I'll fix it if it's wrong) -enemies: -trolls -admins (main attack ban hammer) --both by TribleDuker-- -I've heard from a few people that they want high res... let me just say... their eye-holes will be satisfied ;) -contrasting maps/menu -menu 'bright/happy' -game will vary --Dylanater11 yet again!!!--[/spoiler] Story Ideas! (these are from me to generally inspire you guys, Mainly gamma ;D) [spoiler]-your father left when you were young, he wrote his will early if in some case he didn't return, when you come of age you are read his will. -"Child, I have left on a journey to adventure for the keep of [you guys name it] to leave a legacy behind for the family, if I do not return come and make something of us. Our future generations need a story to be proud of." -there is a note on the letter's outside -"do not give this to my child until [he/she] has a child of [his/her] own" -Me and faxxy are still developing the story behind all of this trying to give the player a serious reason to platform![/spoiler] Nothing fit into the other categories? Tell me to add 'em here! [spoiler]-nostalgia will be great within this one :D -tell me stuff to put here -You guys will have access to the level editor used to build the game! --original idea from Dylanater11--[/spoiler] Anything you post below will possibly be used in the main storyline of the game! If you have a sick idea for a custom dungeon that you want in the main game, tell us! If you want to wait till you can make it yourself, by all means wait! We want to see your contributions on whatever site we designate for map-packs when we get there!
