Weekly "helping others" sessions every Saturday at 1pm EST

My fellow Majestic Knights, With the release of the Crota hard mode raid many of us have been completely dedicated to learning the fights and mastering them. The difficulty is so incredibly inflated (due to level 33 enemies) we have had to run it over and over with almost the same group of players in order to complete it. We spent a minimum of 50 hours just on Crota from release Wednesday until reset Tuesday morning and we only cleared it a hand full of times. We will be starting weekly sessions on Saturdays at 1pm EST to help other clan members clear the raids, nightfalls and any other content they need help with. We currently have 55 members displaying our clan tag but I only hear from 1 or 2 folks a week asking for help. We are hopeful that this standing session will bring more members into the fold and help build up our core group of active players. This clan was built on a foundation of helping others and I am fearful that we are not doing everything we can to live up to that core principle. We will add more times like this if there is enough demand. We don't want members forced to use detinyLFG or /fireteams for help when we have 20 some high level experienced members who are more than happy to help. Many members do not check the forum daily so please send an in game message to one of the folks listed above and we will do our best to help. Feel free to message any of us asking for help anytime you see one of us online and even if we are not able to help at the moment, we can likely find another member(s) who can. There are subgroups forming within the clan who are only playing with each other and we would like to have everyone playing with a variety of members. Clearing VoG or Crota for the first time is something in gaming that I will never forget. I remember every moment of my first VoG and the two experienced players who carried our original 4 clan members through will always have a special spot in my memory. We all want to be that same person to all of you so please ask us for help! For now, Crota HM will not be one of the activities we will be running during this time because, unfortunately, the content is just too difficult and perfection is a must. As more and more members hit 32 and have experience in the normal mode we can begin to start running hard during these sessions. Right now we could likely help one person at a time through HM Crota but we are recommending everyone have at least 15 normal mode clears before even attempting hard. Because of the level 33 enemies the Crota HM raid is not like HM VoG where we actually out leveled the enemies and it is brutally difficult (and really not fun). I hope to see many of you on Saturday!
