Lvl selection/Heroic Patrol modifier

How would you guys like a Heroic Patrol option? You could modify the difficulty like you do with the missions. LIKE and BUMP the post if you would want this. It would include the following changes: -All enemies would scale to set level -More majors would spawn -More "The enemy is moving against each other" events would occur -More exp gained from beacons -Public Events on maximum level would be level 33 and have a chance to drop upgrade materials, lots of glimmer, and legendaries -Optional active PvP, players who want to participate will have a red arrow (or some type of indicator) above their heads and can battle other "active" PvP players If you think this would be a welcome addition, please like the post and comment below!   • Bump Like I remember an online game called asheron's call. It didn't have scalable patrols, but it had areas that were "harder" incrementally so at the start you patrolled one area and kept moving as you leveled. It also had pvp elements in it, the same way you have posted. I played this game over a decade ago. I know it's workable now.

    Hello! You posting this is only the hundredth time someone has suggested a Heroic Patrol option and ill be bungie and give you the clarity of why this wont happen anytime soon. Because they can call this "content" and sell it to you. Think about it, 500 million dollars, over 500 employees, and over 4 years of making this game. This idea for patrol has been tossed, botched, turned, screwed, and thought over and over by this company and im sure they will do something with it at some point, but you bet your ass youre going to cough up money for this sort of diversifying gameplay.

        • Leave the PVP out, add generous XP & Glimmer , and engram bonuses. Although, there are times when unfriendly fire would have come in handy.

        • I think that this is a great concept!! Only downfall that I see with having it be level 30+ patrol is that when riding your sparrow, you'll probably die instantly. Correct me if I'm wrong, but when riding the sparrow you receive more fire power and it takes down your shields very quickly, and that's even with lower level enemies. Maybe setting the heroic modifier up to 25 or something would be enough to add a challenge while still making the enemies weak enough to bypass while riding the sparrow if necessary. PS no green drops at all, blue drops minimum...

        • I always felt each patrol location should have a guardian base of operations with everything from the tower plus that's planets specific bounties.

        • Everything except level 33 events. That's too much. Make the events level 30 as well, the kill the enemy events are super hard already. Maybeeee level 31-32 events but not all of them. Open pvp would be way cool. But it has to b done right. I used to play a game that you could "murder" any player. You had to force attack on them (maybe use like a dpad or something idk, on pc it was ctrl). It would then make your name red and anyone could kill u back. You lost exp (maybe a little bit of glimmer?) as punishment. But it was fun lol. You could murder up to 15, but the more you killed, the more you had to die to make yourself non murderer status, removing the red name.

          • I don't really like the pvp aspect, but i like the idea of harder patrol missions. Especially if they gave more materials or chances of legendaries/exotics. Even if the chances were minimal. It would give me reason to play it more.

          • Love this idea. I would like a guaranteed blue engram as well for using this mode. I hardly ever do patrol these days. It is so dull and boring.

          • a PVP patrol does sound really cool. its seperate from normal patrol and should be set at like, 28 minimum or something, so as to be for top-level players. segregating it between PVP n no PVP heroic patrol would be too much though, as someone else stated it would thin-out the player base too much, or at least it would in theory. (im inclined to believe there is enough of a player base to accomodate.) higher challenge with higher rewards is good. it could also allow players to visit the strike areas to fight the strike bosses while roaming. they'd be level 30 or even higher to accomodate more than 3 players walking in, and have decent chances for legendary drops, on a timer. (boss respawns every half-hour-ish, always drops upgrade mats/rare engram(s), could drop multiples or even a legendary, with a miniscule chance for exotic too.) why not add nightfall? so if u die in hard patrole u go to orbit? or WAAAY back to a distant respawn point, possibly randomized, so as to prevent spawn camping if PVP. a tougher patrol is a good idea overall, maybe not everything that we've all said, but somewhere in between.
