Who here has that awesome luck of buying something sick off Xûr, then your next nightfall/crucible/strike that same exact item drops?
Friend bought Truth when Xûr sold it, every exotic drop since has been Truth.
Bought No Land for lolz, got 3 No Land drops in a row.
Wasted coins, free exotic sharts.

Same... NLB bought... Got in a drop. Dragon breath bought... Got in a drop. Oh and this f#ucking game loves giving me the thunderlord! I received six so far.

Yep happened to me too. Bought Truth, NLB, and Dragons Breath from Xur -- then got them all again as exotic drops the following week.

1 land beyond from crota chest (before patch) 1 from deathsinger and then xur sold it.

Get one of something and it becomes more probable in your future loot table. That's why some people have 5 gallys and some have 0.
