I'm all for it. I don't mind doing the raids once or twice totally legit but, after go number 20 you welcome any and all cheeses that get you through it sooner and safer. By the time you get to go 20 you're really only in the raid to either practice sword/relic, because Mr RNG is refusing to drop you one weapon/armour piece or you're helping someone else out. You are rarely doing Y.A.R (yet another raid) for the fun of it after a few weeks. Oh or oddly for Crota raid. Trying to get shards and energy to actually be able to upgrade the armour you already have! Boy was that a mis-step by the Bungie design team. Drop you loads of gear and then make it useless to you for weeks on end as you try to collect enough shards to even use it and they wonder why so many people are leaving. Seems worst on PS4 oddly.

  • Why is it a misstep not letting you have fully upgraded raid gear after a few runs? Most people wouldn't even do the raid anymore if it was that simple. I think the reason they made the drop rates higher was so people wouldn't be stuck at 31 because of an elusive piece of raid gear (*cough* VoG), and also because they all have slightly different perks and stats so you can get multiple pieces and decide which combination works best for you.

It's a mis-step because if you equip all raid gear without any upgrades check what level you end up at. It's 30 not 31. You're actually worse off than if you simply upgraded some vanguard exp. 1 gear and upgraded that with the cheap as chips to obtain ascendant shards. Apparently the new DLC will drag your exotics up to the new level cap without you having to do the Xur glimmer f$%k or the stupid pointless grind back to where you were nonsense but, I'll believe that when I see it given that Bungie think their players are just big furry hampsters in some wheel! Wolves raid gear needs to start at whatever level the new vanguard gear will get you to so that equipping it as soon as you get it does not f%^k you over!
