I hate my disability
Everytime I ran through the raid doesn't matter what difficulty it is I'm always to blame. I can't hear half the thing my teammate say even though I have game sound muted and party chat volume max out. It become a burden when almost every team I go into the raid with end up kicking me just because they claim I can't "communicate" I'm partly deaf I tell people that just so they understand and yet still kick me. Now I feel my current group is gonna do that exact same thing because of crotas end HM. Half the time I feel like I should just give up and get rid of this game.
Edit1: glad to know there are people who support and/or have the same disability
Edit 2: I'm on the one and sometime 360. I appreciate that people offer to do the raid/weekly with them.
Edit 3: wow such amazing and surprising response from the destiny community.
Edit 4: I should be more clear about my current group. They tell me they wouldn't kick me out of the group but half the time I feel they will because of how frustrated it can be.
Edit 5:surprised people are still replying to this post. Make me glad that there alot of people that care on this game.

There are ways to work through limited communication, such as by being patient and practicing together on strikes and weeklies. Edit: and from there, once people get play and communication styles down, it should be workable.

Eh don't let it get to ya. Keep your head up high. I can somewhat understand there needing to be communication, but if they are messing up that bad because of just one person, then they suck lol. Just keep at it man.

Use a text group chat app on your phone. It works wonders. Find people who aren't asshats to play with.

Same here bro, i don't get kicked out but i was born with only one ear. Yes one ear. My girlfriend bought me the xo four turtle beach headset which i love. But can't hear on both sides only one. I need surgeries every 2 years almost because my canal closes and i lose all my hearing.

Maybe mute all game sound and have one team member on Skype? Voice call or video call, if you can see their face it's a hell of a lot easier to see what's going on, or just having one voice to discern from the rabble. My issue was the opposite, I was very ill for a long time and couldn't speak at all. I could hear what the team were saying but I couldn't communicate the basic things, so I ended up using im on Skype to say things to one person who told the rest. If you happen to be ps4 you're more than welcome to join me and my clan on a raid. We aren't pro raiders just banging through trying to get the quickest time, but we do have the goal!

We don't usually post on forums, but send a msg on xbox (were on the One). The clan I'm in focuses more on comraderie than on stats. Besides, half the time I play with randoms, they don't even have headsets or talk, so (if you pardon my brash phrasing), nothing new to me. GT: Biggity 068
