Everytime I ran through the raid doesn't matter what difficulty it is I'm always to blame. I can't hear half the thing my teammate say even though I have game sound muted and party chat volume max out. It become a burden when almost every team I go into the raid with end up kicking me just because they claim I can't "communicate" I'm partly deaf I tell people that just so they understand and yet still kick me. Now I feel my current group is gonna do that exact same thing because of crotas end HM. Half the time I feel like I should just give up and get rid of this game.
Edit1: glad to know there are people who support and/or have the same disability
Edit 2: I'm on the one and sometime 360. I appreciate that people offer to do the raid/weekly with them.
Edit 3: wow such amazing and surprising response from the destiny community.
Edit 4: I should be more clear about my current group. They tell me they wouldn't kick me out of the group but half the time I feel they will because of how frustrated it can be.
Edit 5:surprised people are still replying to this post. Make me glad that there alot of people that care on this game.

HMU on Xbox 360 if you play destiny on there. I can help you. I have passed the hard raid multiple times this week. I can be your Swordbearer. If you want lol. Just sit in the spawn, and let my team take care of everything.
-
Dont play with those assholes....ignore them and find decent human beings to play with.
-
-blam!- those guys and well done for putting your neck on the line in here. If I had an Xbone I'd add you in a flash.
-
I'll run HM Crota with you on Xbox One if you need a sword bearer. I have my end nailed down so as long as you have a decent rocket launcher, and can shoot Crota at the right time & follow other members of the team, it shouldn't be a problem. I've finished it 7 times this week. Tbh, I bet most of the time you have trouble on the raid is down to other team mates being to blame - we usually do the raids and there's always one player who can't communicate well or has a sub par loadout, but it just requires the other 5 to step up.
-
Are you a Doge?
-
Don't you have a hearing aid? and by partly deaf is it only one ear or like slight hearing in both? if its only one ear turn your headset around and flip you mic over to the other side.
-
Add me to your friends list brother (xbone). I'd be honoured to raid with you.
-
Hey man, id help.
-
If you need help with anything add me. Eel SR7 I have no problem with people having difficulty communicating. I'm on one and 360
-
Stay strong young padwan
-
Hang in there bro, I'm disabled as well (4 disks messed up and can't hardly walk)...People need to remember that all disablities aren't visible... I don't have any friends on the x1 but finally found some people to help me run the raids and show me the ropes... I'd help ya, but I'm on the x1...
-
I have a disability that Hurts my communication but damn that sucks
-
If that's your thought, might as well get rid of everything.. or just tell them to -blam!- off and drive on brother. Check with your Dr to see if it would be adequate to try hearing aid or a different type of headphone might help too
-
I'm sorry to hear that man, it sucks when people don't respect someone's handicaps
-
Are you on xbox one?
-
My little brother is deaf i learned to sign at a young age And catch myself sometimes signing to able hearing people out of habit But there are many things available Messenger keyboard , kinect voice to text chat, Skype for hearing impaired tts systems Even phone apps you can plug into live chat And it turns speech to text Then you can Bluetooth it onto the tv screen Using the new Apple TV box if you have an iphone My lil bro goes hard at xbox cod And has much support from community Above is a clan of deaf gamers They stick together and rock socks
-
Send a message to the leader and ask for run throughs before you do any part of the raid. Typically when we raid we walk it through. Though its tough to hear this is a good thing for the entire team to do at Crotas end.

I'm unfortunately Scottish and have a strong Glaswegian accent. Allot of people do not understand a word I say haha. Just send a message before you start and tell people, most people you play with really nice but some people are horrible like you found out. If you were on ps4 I would raid with you
-
That sucks man. I dont raid using a mic or headset(though im getting one) and it can be annoying. Ill add you later if you want
-
I have hearing loss from my deployment brother! you are not alone....atleast you get to raid some lol I dont even make it that far
-
I have a hearing loss, so I get it
-
Stick with it man, we're not all stupid scrubs. If you want to be good with raids, memorize all the steps and details through youtube clips or something, so communication doesn't have to be all that essential. Plenty of people around willing to help, you'll be fine! Just block all those immature jackasses.
-
I'll do raids, nightfalls, and all that stuff with you. Just add me on xbox One and send me a message. My teams for crotas end on hard are always willing to help. My gamertag is Ch3cker00ni.

Edited by JackTheRipperRoo : 1/26/2015 1:18:32 PMI am profoundly deaf can't use mic and can't understand what they say. I want do crota end hard mode i always get kicked out. Life not fair
-
If you're on Xbox one add me. I'll definitely raid with you.

The trouble is some people won't take you genuinely... which is horrendous! When I first played bf4 online I was ridiculed by some players - because I am severely colourblind. Players thought it was just an excuse... Once I adjusted the settings I was fine...
