While pondering during some free time I had I thought about Destiny and a common complaint. Pulse rifles have no place. Well I say no more!!! I honestly think by giving ALL pulse rifles a passive boost in damage in a SMART fashion would fix them. [u]1st[/u] -Increasing the damage of the rounds [b]per consecutive hits[/b]that also reset after the burst. Any misses with any round would reset it back to the 1st round. Ex: 3 round burst, 1st round ×1.0 _2nd round ×1.2 _3rd round ×1.5_ then reset back to 1st. [u]2nd[/u] - more simple(probably easier to code as well), but increased damage for each consecutive round in the burst. This does everything as the first example but [b]isn't reliant on accuracy. [/b] My personal favorite is my first suggestion because burst weapons are usually for increased marksmanship and this would directly reward that play style while keeping a better balance to gameplay.
