2 Make an area at the tower were people can gather to play a particular strike or mission. You have made it SO hard to find people to do community events. And I am tired of getting spammed when I don't want to do those things.[b] That sucks for everyone. [/b]
3 When we start the game its safe to assume we want to play. Get rid of the initial need press a button to play screen.[b] Its insulting.[/b]
4 Start us at the tower. [b]Respect our time[/b]
5 get rid of that god forsaken "Orbit"[b] its stupid.[/b] Let us choose our destination from our menu as a tab like we view inventory etc.
Overall Stop making us stop all the bloody time. More play less sitting around waiting on your servers. Millions of people hit internet services at the same time day and night.[b] Figure out how to make that work. [/b]

This is one of the more ignorant things I've read lately. Some things are close to good ideas, but not quite there yet. Point by point: 1. This is one of the better points - I don't get why it takes so long to log in and grab your character profiles. Presumably they're loading a bunch of shit in the background though. If you're talking about time to load a map, well, your console can only load all those gigabytes of textures and assets so fast, little buddy. Cut it some slack - it's building a beautiful world for you to complain about. 2. Learn to use DestinyLFG. The real solution here would be a matchmaking hopper, and they've already said they're thinking about it. It hasn't stopped plenty of people of hitting 32 already, so clearly it's not a problem you can't deal with. Maybe build a raid group that plays at the same time you do. They don't OWE you anything. 3. Really? It's insulting? So 90% of videogames ever have personally insulted you? 4. This is also close - but I don't always want to go to the tower. Sometimes I want to jump in and go right to someone's fireteam for a raid or something. A BETTER idea would have "go to tower" options everywhere, including the start screen and from pulling up your ghost . Often when I finish a bounty or something I want to go to the tower and getting into orbit is an irritating step. 5. Orbit is not stupid. It's fast to load and you need to have the same functionality somewhere (location selection, fireteam construction, being able to pregame-chat a raid, etc), so what - you want that to be another tab in your start menu? Also I'd rather get kicked out of a game to orbit than having to go back to the start screen or something. In short, if you don't like it, go play Call of Duty or whatever. Those loading screens are, again, mostly your console loading up everything it needs for you to play the game and not so much their servers. They need to pop you into an instance, and that really just does not take that long (I'm pretty sure Orbit is a 6-man-max instance, and that loads in seconds). The game came on a blu-ray disc for a reason - it has a TON of data it needs in order to function, and it needs to load big chunks of it any time you go anywhere.

This is #feedback from a longtime software developer. You personal mileage may vary. If I didn't like it I would play something else. There are so many things right about the game it would be criminal to discard it. There are, as I have listed, areas requiring dramatic improvement. Now I shall endeavor to respond, as you say, point by point. #1 uh huh. I know the textures in my two player tiles are enormous. Thats why we wait 30-70 seconds for that. Regarding the actual we page the textures by zone as we go. If we didn't we would not see the loading screen if we traverse zones too quickly. So whats the holdup. We are already hogging 10s of gigs of HD space with the game take advantage of some local storage. #2 So DestinyLFG is just fine. It is, however, another example of leaving the game to get in the game. Like the <insert pejorative/> grimoire cards. Nothing says immersive game play like putting the controller down and picking up a lappy or whatever. You dont have to do all of this to get a team together in halo which is more than a decade old. #jussayin #3 Yes, all games that make you press play game after you have already chosen to play the game are insulting. Simply because a thing is prolific does not make it THE way. We have already chosen to play the game or we would not be sitting at that screen. "Its always been done that way." is not a valid requirement. #4 Then lets make it a setting. So everyone could choose. IMHO, If we got to the tower in less time than we get to orbit now it would be better than a wash. #5 Orbit [b]IS[/b] stupid its just another damn loading screen. The game came on a blueray but its installed on the hard drive. I would be interested [i]and surprised[/i] if there is ANYTHING on the disc that the game uses outside its use as a validation dongle. In closing it should not take multiple minutes to get to the part of the game you want to get to. Opinions to the contrary are not obligatory and contribute to the general devaluation of the game play experience, little buddy. LOLZ

Having designated areas of the tower to meet for raids and strikes is brilliant. I would love to see that happen.

Orbit is useful. When the tower is full you can't invite anymore teammates so that's where you use it. Also when you are waiting for a friend to quickly join so you can just dive in

When the tower is full. Each tower is an instance. Each instance can only hold 16 people.... Bungie marketed game as mmofps. 16 ppl. Lmfao we had more than 16 in the late 90s!
