Destiny has been one of the greatest games iv played and in 5+ years from now I will speak of it the same way I talk about halo and the older n64 games I grew up with. It falls in as one of the greats in my books a legendary and a soon to be classic

4 RepliesFor those of you who say "it's Activision's fault..." IT'S NOT. Or "they (Bungie) should have stuck with Microsoft" -- literally means nothing. Bungie is in control over content it creates, what people are suggesting is publishing rights/profit sharing has something to do with vault space etc and that's just not true. The details of their partnership went public via court action years ago. Activision does not have intellectual property rights nor does it have creative control over Bungie--Bungie develops, Activision physically produces. Activision gave Bungie up front money to develop the game, then profits from sales are split between the two companies (can't remember what those articles said the split was, not really important to this point). I don't think you can blame Activision for any issues with the game you may have. They have a 10-year deal. One would think/hope with all the feedback they're getting they realize they're sitting on a gold mine--if no one cared, no one would give any feedback. So I think there's hope for Comet/Destiny 1.5 t

Personally this isn't their best work but its still pretty fun with friends and the recruitment page. I personally am neutral on the influence because I wanna see if the next game comes out as a more refined version that has taken note of what gamers complained about and put it to work. I'll just wait and see which way they go from here before I decide what my thoughts on what they are doing.

Absolutely loved all the halos. Played till my arms cramped. I was super stoked for Destiny and I have enjoyed it. But Destiny has screwed gamers like me who don't want to pay 60 bucks a year to play a game they already purchased. Not to mention the dlcs that have divided the community almost in half. Bungie. You disappoint me.

I don't have a real opinion about Bungie based on Destiny or its shortcomings. This game is a merger of two major game types and was bound to have some roadblocks and complications. Even with the current bugs, glitches and issues tho, this game offers something that no other truly does. What Id like to see is Bungie continue to make strong attempts at fixing the issues and learn from the mistakes. That's all we can truly ask for.

I expected quite a few similarities to halo with this release and was not let down in this respect. High emphasis on PvP. Basic gameplay. Enemy models. One could fairly easily be persuaded to call this a revamped halo. Having said all of that, I enjoy the story, gameplay, weapon selection, gear art (albeit unified across all players), environment art, world maps (could be bigger), and feel of the community and relationship between players and bungie ( yea, I said it). Blah blah, if I make this any longer, no one will read it. Summation: they're doing more right than wrong and have improved their overall quality of craftsmanship over the years.

Negative: beta was far better than this because nothing was nerfed. When they started interfering with all the weapons and how physics worked they lost me.

I voted positive because my initial reaction to this game was positive. Bungie did create Halo and due to that it would take them a really big screw up for me to say that they are complete mess ups. Having said that Destiny is getting me really close to changing my mind, it is in a way ruining their past achievements. They need to save this game and their reputation asap

Paying so much money for so little and what we get is broken, i play PvE and there not much to keep the game fun i cant even bare doing half the crap because ive dont a trillion times, i payed 20 dollars for your update and got omnigal... And crota .....<still broken... I could honestly go on and on its a mess, and the story.... Bad just bad, cod was better... Bad very very very bad. And for the PvP part i was able to play like two maps over and over and iver for the bad juju thanks for that dreadful exp
