The game mechanics and design are both incredible. The game play is extremely fluid but it lacks in game story with depth. I'm neutral on this one.

If you honestly believe Bungie is the sole reason this game went down the drain then you probably should think before you construct any form of conclusion. Bungie is only a puppet to the puppeteer known as Activision. Face the facts, Activision invested $500 million into the first Destiny title. Only a fraction of which was used for the vanilla build. Was that Bungie's fault? No... I've got one word for you. This one word is what destroyed the light in the dark we all hoped to find.. Corporate.. Corporate is what crumbled the walls of hope. This alludes to Activision. Many people may ask, "Well why did Bungie choose Activision if they're just money grabbing whores who don't care about game content?" Bungie didn't have a choice. Activision is the only publisher that has enough money and is willing to even attempt a game of such magnitude. If Bungie even wanted to get close to creating they're child of which they had envisioned then they would have to turn to Activision. They risked they're "life" for they're "child". Meaning.. They risked they're name and legacy for they're new and exciting game. They risked it for all for us. For them to do that and have everyone point fingers at them shows how sad this community really is. Please people.. Open your eyes and smell the fresh air. Bungie cares about us. They take blame for something they can't control. They have forums specifically for FEEDBACK. Yet all people like you use it for is to complain rather than provide constructive criticism. If you don't think your voice will be heard then you're wrong. YOUR voice is OUR voice, and OUR voice is YOUR voice. If we all unite and work and speak together then we can bring back that light. We can make it brighter than ever.. In order to do that we need to stop having posts like this. Instead focus on what's going on now and what will happen in the future. Bump if you agree and don't if you hate the idea of a decent community. It's your life, your choice. Thanks guys, peace. -Genesis

I expected the story to be epic(come on, the last story they had was halo and it was awesome), and the pvp to be good. The story was interesting, but like a children's book with no ending.

Feel as thought bungie has be corrupted by activision
-
I am angry with how Destiny is being portrayed as the game of the year. It actually is not even close to living up that. Maybe in sales. But more than that I am disappointed with lack of new content or events post release.
-
Considering that the people who put bungie on the map are now gone (both forcefully and by choice) I'd say that I can't honestly feel anything for bungie, they killed themselves and that kind of sucks... All lot
-
Change it to Activision. I füćkïng hate those money-grabbing, lying ćüñtś. Bungie take all the blame yet Activision edited the game and diluted it to shit by cutting it into dlc.
-
bungie is somewhere above naughty dog and ubisoft but below bethesda. there is a lot i like about the game. probably the best pve fps game since fallout and while the story isn't at that level, the replayability and social environment are excellent. i just hope bungie actually listens to feedback when it's overwhelming {vault space, fix auto rifles so they are actually effective etc}

Bungie has been screwing gamers for a while now. They have a practice abandoning they fanbase for "greener pastures". What are doing in Destiny shouldn't surprise anyone. They have always been about the loot.
-
They said it was going to be a lot of things that it isn't. Compared to Halo it's lacking in every department except gear customization...which isn't really in Halo until reach and that was a joint 343/Bungie game. Anyway Destiny wasn't the step forward I think they thought it would be and I know it's not the step forward many others thought it would be.

As long as I enjoy the game it doesn't matter. Destiny is fun for me. I have around 350hrs and still enjoy it. The players who have 1500+ hrs complaining almost makes their complaints invalid. Simply because you don't do anything for that many hours of you hate it.
-
Positive. Their still a great studio. Nature of the beast for people to not like what they don't have or disapprove of though.
-
Was never a fan of Halo, didn't enjoy the mechanics or story much; but with that said, I respected Bungee for coming out with a game series that opened the world of fps to a gamer community that had really not seen it much. Not everyone had a great pc to use for the Doom or Quake series. Destiny has the opportunity to do something unique to the fps genre, to expand it to a new realm with interesting new possibilities for future engagements. Though the game is severely lacking in almost every aspect of the game, except controls, they have opened that door. If they can just listen to the basics of what is needed: story, end game content, separation of pvp and pve; this could really bring about a new type of fps and show an offer for more companies to get in their own games of this type. TL;DR: Good for the genre, neutral for the game.

I had no idea who Bungie was before Destiny, so it isn't like I looked at the game through rose tinted glasses and had a pretty neutral view on them as a company. My opinion has been negatively affected though. They created a game with such promise, but I see it slipping into a generic competitive FPS and in the future, that is the standard which I will use to judge a game I see with their name.
-
Honestly I'm a bit disappointed with the quality of the content, but it's nice to see that they are starting to add a lot of stuff and are trying to catch up to their promise. Most importantly though bungie did what they do best and made a game that is a blast to play with friends. No matter how much people complain about the story and RNG, the game is fun to play.
-
I don't really have an opinion on this matter, as destiny is the first bungie game I've ever bought. But, I do believe that they kinda goofed when they decided to nerf auto rifles as bad as they did.
-
I wonder if this thread has even been seen by Bungie eyes.
-
I honestly don't think this is entirely bungies fault. Activision is a bunch of bullies and I think they are the actual cause for the mess that is destiny right now. As an Xbox one player I really hope that after house of wolves is released we get to see some Xbox exclusives that playstation won't be able to get for a full year. It's obvious that activision is team playstation but everyone knows that bungie is team Xbox so give those loyal fans something to look forward too so that we can drink the salty tears of playstation users for a bit!!

Negative. They no longer have their lead writer from halo and they fired their best music composer they will ever get for a video game. Idiots is what they are.
-
Negative, this game has nothing on halo reach, I still go back and play invasion with my friends, quite often actually
-
Negative. Hyped up game that amounted to the bird feces I scrubbed off my windshield this morning. I don't see the relevance of the price to playtime ratio that some like to use. Especially when there aren't many games to choose from worth playing on current gen consoles. I've played numerous games with 1000+ hours on each. Destiny will not be one of them. However, I have a feeling the slimy cocksuckers at Activision are to blame.
-
Bungie has sold out they are no longer a decent game crafter they spend more time trying to promote a game that is slightly playable rather than fixing it not to mention the favor towards pvp and them shitting on pve players
-
I want the game you sold me. Not this hacked up collage of monotony.
-
Negative. Pages of feedback and lists of broken things and their attention stays on catering to the hard core PVP players. I play both modes and would like to see balance. Nerf this and nerf that but both raids are still ridden with glitches. I hope Bungie loses their ass.
-
I put negative. Destiny, my first Bungie game got extremely taxing and boring after only three months of playing it. I only play crucible now. If any of their other games have the same effect after only three months I don't see how they still have jobs.
-
This game was a bad business action from bungie. They just got to greedy and I hope they pay the price.
