It really varies on your play style. The Last Word is meant more for a fast pace type of player. The Thorn is more for that player looking for the precision kill. Basically more conservative. While the Fatebringer is more of the crowd control. I think of it more of the raid type. Then there's the Hawkmoon. It has a pretty big clip and it there's 3 bullets(completely random) that cause more damage. So there is a bit of luck involved. THESE ARE MY OPINIONS. OBVIOUSLY NOT EVER ONE WILL AGREE.
