Fatebringer is by far the best hand canon in the game due to it having explosive rounds, firefly and the fact that it does arc damage. It can also hold 12 shots in a clip.

  • I beg to differ...I have Hawkmoon with Luck in the Chamber, Hammer Forged and Holding Aces...This might just be a pretty good competitor for Fatebringer. I wish I could make the comparison myself, but unfortunately Fatebringer hasn't dropped for me yet... :(

  • You just cant simply say that about a legendary, and you my friend must be on xbone and have not witnessed the great glory of hawkmoon. Hawkmoon is without a doubt the best hand cannon in the game

  • I just got Fatebringer during my pass of hard mode VoG last week. I love all the explosions, especially when shooting into a crowd of charging Thrall....one guy takes all his buddies with him. The explosions are as useful as they are comical. That said, I'm not convinced of it's usefulness in PVP (but I'm not great in PVP to start with). On the other hand, the verdict seems to be in on best hand cannons, and it seems to be Hawkmoon, something I currently do not have. I'm not sure when I'll get it, but am hopeful to find out how awesome it is shortly ;)

  • Fatebringer is also very PVE based, there are better options to chose from in regards to Pvp

  • For 80% of the game yea. Not so good for bosses. It's power relies on crowds which is 80% of the game.
