So we all know content is one of the lacking things here in Destiny. but I've had an idea and I'd like to know what you all think. The tower, it has many people living [standing] in it to assist, reward, and guide those forged in light. however, at a certain point they almost all become useless. So here comes the special events to save the day right? well no Iron banner is cool but as we've seen saturation has a bad habit of tarnishing this event and everyone's kind of tires of it. Queens wrath was a debacle and we don't know when her emissary shall return. So here's my idea what if the towers vendors all had events of their own? that way each week could be a different set of missions/bounties with a different set of rewards, rewards being the key thing to note here. Each vendor supplying you with said mission/bounty would provide his/her speciality for your boon. Cryptark grants engrams, Gunsmith awards ammo synth and weapons (RNG style of course with chance for legendaries.), Shipwright of course provides ships and sparrows of all rarities, Crucible and Vanguard showers marks/glimmer if you're capped as well as rep, Speaker offers motes of light at a percentage and of course his class items, Ava gifts shaders and banners, maybe throw Xur in there with harder raid oriented missions/bounties if you decide to give us ghost shells (I still want my vex and hive raid shells Bungie) or of course he could always bless us with coins. Someone to pay us in consumables wouldn't be a bad idea either. That seems pretty easy if you ask me and it obviously adds extra content to achieve each week and there's an opportunity for some story there.
