I have made it out well seeing as how the only duplicate exotic I have ever received is Thunderlord. I am still missing quite a few though but that's alright, Xur sold the ones I'm missing, I didn't have a need for them.
The ones he hasn't sold and that I don't have are Red Death, Hard Light, and the Remote.

I got hard light from the VoG HM. Its pretty cool. I still tend to use my Shadow Price over it though...
