Hate to burst your bubble there bud, but did it EVER occur to you (or most other pvp'ers who frequently complaint about "rewards") that these are not performance based rewards but rewards for participation so you ppl who like to complain about it actually get something to shoot at in the first place ? Without participation rewards hardly anyone would bother with the Crucible and you'd be shooting yourself in the foot instead of hunting down unexperienced n00bs who are just after the participation rewards anyway and then bragging about your 4.0 k/d ratio and complaining afterwards that someone else got "rewarded" and you did not .........
Granted, it may suck from a "true pvp'ers" point of view but that's how it is. For performance you get bragging rights, for getting shot at and enduring the abuse you get loot. Simple concept. Don't like it ? Go play Minecraft! (isn't that what all the l33t pvp masters would say now?).

Edited by iekue: 1/4/2015 11:59:49 AMThe real problem however is the actual frequency of rewards, u can play 5-6 games and get nothing (or just 1 rare armor item/gun). However if u play a strike playlist (which takes about the time of 2/3 crucible matches) u get at least 1 engram, and often way more being dropped in the activity itself and/or as final reward. Reward distribution is totally balanced towards PvE, while it should be similar for both PvE and PvP. I don't mind the RNG if the chance of getting stuff after a PvP match becomes higher....

not sure what game you are playing but crucible yields A LOT more usefull loot than strike playlists. pve rewards are far and few between, rare as hell and usually end up as mats anyway. even nightfalls can screw you pretty good on loot. thanks for all the shards.....
