If vote-kick is implemented, you are going to get trolls who group up and que a strike, just to kick you at the end before completing it. Then you will moan and complain about Bungie adding this to the game.
In ANY multi-player game, you will find players like this with no real solution in place to combat most offenders.
Nowhere in Destiny does it say you have to play the strike the way others want to play it. You shouldn't be able to kick players who do not conform to your playstyle.
Instead, if these players annoy you so damn much, stop being lazy and use the LFG forums, or find friends to play with like Destiny is supposed to be played.
Saying that the game should be damn near perfect and meet all of your expectations is unrealistic.
If they implement vote-kick, I hope you get troll-kicked every other strike until you beg for them to take it away!

You could easily implement a system that would require the player to reach enough score gain every so often. 1, 2, 3, minutes or so. If that player fails to meet the required points in the set time, the other players will then receive a vote kick option. This would mean that the players would have to contribute to the fight or risk getting kicked. It would force afkers to help others and not give much chance to lay off and do nothing.

Aptly put. If they are incapable of accepting different play styles the obvious option is just to play with like minded friends
