RNG Screws me again this week....
In the past 3 weeks, I've seen all my clan-mates get the awesome weapons like Song Of Ir Yut, Blackhammer, Hunger of Crota, the raid Helmet, all this from Crota...
What have I gotten? Swordbreaker, radiant shards, sword breaker, swordbreaker, swordbreaker, rad. shards, swordbreaker. Can you give me a weapon other than the mother f*cking swordbreaker? PLEASE?
This week tops it off though.... on ALL 3 OF MY CHARACTERS, ALL I GOT WERE RADIANT ENERGIES. All these energies, and not a single f*cking thing to use them on. Not a single useful armor piece on any of my characters. As RNG -blam!-s me again this week, I'll make note and be damn sure to bend over and spread my cheeks for him next week so it doesn't hurt as bad....
I swear, I'm cursed with this game and it's getting incredibly frustrating. I have 50 energies with NOTHING to spend them on.

So, my friend had the same problems as you. Actually, two of my friends. And they were getting frustrated and nothing would go there way. Two nights ago, my friends did the VoG on normal. My one friend got an Ice Breaker from a chest and got the G-horn from Atheon. I couldn't fricken believe it. Afterwards, my other friend did the VoG on hard mode and got the Vex Mythoclast. He then did Crotas Raid and got the head piece, boots, gauntlets and on his second character got the Black Hammer. It gets frustrating and time consuming but once you see that yellow text at the bottom left hand corner of your screen its a wonderful feeling. You'll get some amazing stuff, it may take some time and I know, its an annoying feeling but it'll happen and I really hope it happens, for your sake. Best of luck, hope this story gave you hope!

1 ReplyWhat was it Bungie said would be implemented with the new raid? Wasn't the new feature a "smart RNG" system? So much for that promise... I have done CE a few times now - got myself the gloves the 2nd week at the first cp. The next week I got myself the gloves at the first cp. Last week I got myself the gloves at the first cp... I am not seeing a smarter RNGesus here, guys, especially considering that i am wearing the gloves I got the first week.

Same for me, nothing but shards off crota for 4 weeks now, only got shader and eblem the first time, always stiffs me, just like VOG, i have worst luck, and only one character, cause I know even if i had other characters, the bad luck would still extend to them. Please bungie, fix this way to random rng, it really needs work.

Last week i got 6 energy from him The week before i got 4 energy and 3 shards. This week i got 2 energy and hunger of crota. So after 7 runs of nothing i feel uniquely qualified to say it could be worse
