PS Exclusives
When Bungie made that 10 year contract, was it for 10 years of PS Exclusives or was the exclusives only for Destiny "1"?
(This thought came to me as i heard about Destiny 2 in the works)
Can anyone name a game on multiple consoles that has had exclusives on only a portion of the consoles? Maybe this has been going on for a while, but i can't remember ever seeing it.
I would love for some equality, but if it's part of their 10 year contract then there's no point talking about.
I just hope out of all the "we have heard the players" that bungie will realize the huge middle finger they gave to xbox gamers when they gave exlusives to PS only.
Edit: Apparently Sony paid a buttload of cash for the exclusives ( http://pressly.it/na7p). Sounds like only a one year exclusive. I sure hope so.
Edit: 10 year contract is with Activision, not PS so there's a good chance the exclusives were only for the initial buy so the majority of players went with PS instead.

6 RepliesCan't really complain dude. We've had halo and gears of war exclusively on the xbox. Both great series. If ps users have a few more weapons and strikes I'm not gonna lose any sleep over it.

4 RepliesIf you really want to blame someone, blame Microsoft, they offered Bungie/Acitivion enough money to bring Destiny to their console, it was never intended to be released for Microsoft and was to be a PS exclusive game. So now you have access to it, but it's just not as cool.

2 RepliesI believe how it worked out is sony actually paid to have the extra content developed on top of the game, not just paid to lock out some of the game. If that's the case, then we wouldn't have them at all without sony. Don't feel bad though. The strikes are nothing special, and I've been playing since day one on my ps4 and still never seen a hawkmoon or monte Carlo

Yes and the reason Sony paid so much for the exclusives is because it no longer held claim to Destiny as PS Exclusive Title (It had already, and is still advertised as an exclusive) so they had to find a way to spice it up for their customers.

4 RepliesHonestly, Sony paid for the exclusives that Ps players receive. They sunk quite a bit of money into supporting Destiny for some reason. I wish Microsoft and Sony would stop being children and allow the servers to be united on certain games. That'd probably spark more console wars though....
