To be fair I don't think we're Entitled.
You make the raid seem harder than it is. In 15 seconds I can pull up how to solo the new raid. There goes teamwork. Not to mention, Atheon as an example has the exact same spawn patterns and AI movements leaving it to having done it once and being a pro after 3 times or so.
Raids = Hard the first 3 times
Unless you bring a team of 6, a Crucible match require wayyy more teamwork, well control does anyway. Pits you with randoms and expects everyone to either sink or swim. Its a constantly changing group of enemies that frequently change patterns and have different weapons, strategies, and abilities.
Crucible = Hard every time
Now for the most important part. The people in the crucible, on average have killed 3000 guardians. That's about as much as Crota. Those PVPers are earning gear, not being entitled.
My opinion (If you read this far) - As a man who not only killed over 6000 guardians, and Solo'd Crota twice in 24 hours. PVP is much harder, thus should have way more rewards equal to the Raid.
Like you said, this is a multi-faceted game, until you try to join a group and can't because you're "not 30" I believe the original phrase was. Leaving only 1 way to get to the highest tier of players is a sad way to display skill in the game.
Personally I would take a lvl 31 who killed 8000 guardians than a lvl 32 who hides behind a raid team to be strong. Its Destiny, not Destinies

To be clear you dont earn any gear in PvP. The reward system drops loot for bad players to give them a reason to keep playing and if you are winning then you dont need anything more. PvE takes a lot more of a time investment to learn all the content boss patterns and such. You may be a good player and try to communicate and play strategically. You are a minority, I rarely see anyone using the in game voice chat. Most PvP players are from COD and Halo where they just get on, play a few rounds, and are done. There is no hardcore/higher skilled playlists for competitive play in PvP. Whereas PvE players, such as I that lead raid groups very often, have to do a lot of research or actual playing and experimenting to learn boss mechanics and such. Destiny PvP is casual at best and requires much less time/challenge to be rewarded.

To be fair its better to use generalities than soecifics , you're right
-
I am sorry I wish it wasnt true but you are in the minority. Maybe when they add the trials of Osiris this will be fixed
-
definitely in the minority :(
-
I couldn't stop laughing at your name.

Very well said. Just reward us the same for the hours we play. No matter which, pve or pvp, we choose to play. It could be done easily. Hand full of raid equivalent guns gained through your hard work as a pvp'r. Make them random special bounties. Just like exotic bounties. 50 sniper head shots as part one. 25 melee kills from behind part 2. Last part being 2 seperate weeks worth of xur transactions. Involve night falls and strikes.
-
all good ideas!
-
There is absolutely no team work in crucible...no-one ever talks on the chat system they all cried for bungie to put in the game....none ever talks strategy...unless you're going in with your six if not your on your own....
-
I usually solo it and kill assholes, clean out zones, blah blah blah... it is extremely hard to get proper teamwork, but when you do, its pure gold and it shows
-
It's literally impossible to solo either of the raids
-
Yeah dude, I youtubed it. Its easier than you think. But it might be "literally impossible" to work youtube

Edited by Woupsea: 12/24/2014 11:36:44 AM-_- unless you can split your body into three separate beings capable of capturing plates then no. It's not easier than I think. Crota isn't the entire raid
-
What is this 3 plate gimmick?? you know you can just jump across with the sword right?
-
Edited by Woupsea: 12/24/2014 12:23:27 PMI was talking about the vault :/ i guess the bridge in Crotas end would be easier with only one person actually

The footage exists. Go look and face that you were wrong.

Edited by Woupsea: 12/24/2014 11:55:48 AMIf you're looking to prove that crucible is " hard every time" while the pve is easy after a while then you've failed. Crucible is a noncompetitive joke built to cater to noobs. The late PVE is challenging every time and equally rewarding. And this guy solod it on normal mode, still impressive but once hard mode comes out I'm yet to be blown away. But back to crucible, that shits easy AF. If you find it hard every time I suggest you learn to play an actual competitive game and not this casual baby's first fps Hell, earlier I was only stabbing and I did alright lol. Gimme a break
-
If by alright you mean ending a game with a 1.0... Based off your stats you're not very good. At all... so unfortunately I can't take your opinion on how hard the crucible is until you've killed at least 5000 guardians without them killing you just as many times. Please stop trolling, or flaming or whatever you're doing

Edited by Woupsea: 12/24/2014 12:26:18 PMAll of the matches on my history are melee only. Not that I even try at this because there's no point due to RNG loot. Half of the crucible matches I'm in involve me and my friend sitting in the back of the map AFK lol In fact the crucible matches in your history average around 1.0 haha, your control ratio on total is 1.4 to be specific, barely above my 1.2! I guess neither of us are very good at all eh?
-
Still above yours sir :) I actually just started doing "prison rules" matches myself! loving it
-
Not significantly so for a a crucible player

Edited by Woupsea: 12/25/2014 12:42:26 AMNot going to respond huh?
-
Edited by The Domain: 12/24/2014 11:52:38 AMYou look pretty stupid. I never said a word about pvp. Edit: But yes. Pvp is more challenging than fighting an easy to predict AI that are always in the same area and don't use any form of tactic other than hide and shoot. If you're trying to assert that pve is hard then your just admitting to sucking in pve.
-
Replied to you and not the other guy. You're both using the same unoriginal teaabag gif icon I'm sure he'll see the response anyway, as for whatever you said I really couldn't give less of a shit
-
"unoriginal teabag gif" coming from a guy with the windows logo behind master chief.... I don't think it gets any less original for an XBOX player
