It's decent for PvP if you pair it with armor that has extra ammo and especially faster reload for shotgun, otherwise it reloads way too slow. Don't use it until the Universal Remote is switched on, it needs that extra range and precision damage. I have been one-shotted by them many times at decent range..

On the other hand I haven't used it a whole lot myself, the few times I have I surprised a few Guardians badly but then got owned by snipers. Stick to smallish rooms and areas that lend themselves to short-range tactics, in other words areas where a shotgun is suitable in any case. YMMV.
