I always kill myself if I am alone when I get to the boss to spawn all 3 of us there and if you leave at that point well then it is your time that was wasted not mine.

I don't mind it, honestly. At least you're keeping the team together. I will say the first time someone did this to me, both me and my random teammate stood still for the rest of the strike. I had played 4-5 games with him and we both got 3 Legendaries a piece in that span, and he skipped the 30 or so enemies on Mars. And the way we were getting drops, it was a piss off.
