Ask a Catholic!

I'm a Roman Catholic. I'll answer any religious questions, might even respond to some of those gr8 b8s. I can clear up any misconceptions and confusion about Catholic doctrine. I'm highly educated on Catholicism and partially in other denominations and our differences. If you'd to know my views on certain subjects just ask, but just keep in mind I don't necessarily agree with all of the Catholic teachings. So go ahead... Ask me anything... Allahu Akbar!

  • Why do you guys call yourself Apostolics if you clearly don't fallow the doctrine of the apostles found in Acts 2:38? The promise of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in unknown tongues was for them as well as their children and their children's children and generations to come including Gentiles. Also how come you don't baptize by submersion as the Greek word "bapto" found all throughout The book of Acts when it states someone got baptized. And the last question is why you guys baptize in titles instead of baptism in the name of Jesus? You can't find anywhere in the Book of Acts where someone got baptized in the titles Father, Son, Holy Ghost. Jesus said in the "name" not names or repeat titles. That's why Peter knew what Jesus meant by in the name. Jesus is God rode in flesh not a second person of a trinity. Therefore the Name of the Father is Jesus and the name of the Holy Ghost is also Jesus. Jesus means Jehovah Saves, so don't say that the name of the Father was only Jehovah. His name shall be called the mighty God, and the everlasting Father. How can a second person of a trinity be called the Mighty God? Not unless Jesus is God himself rode in flesh. John 1 says in the beginning was the word and the word was God, and that word which is God was made flesh and dwelt among us and everything was made by Him, not by the second person of the trinity. The word trinity is not even in the bible. It was invented by the Roman Catholic Church that had long departed the original Apostolic teachings. My point is, just because I'm my father's son, and the father of my children, and a husband doesn't mean my name is father, son, husband. My name is still my name. We must repent, be baptized in Jesus name for the remission of sins, and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in unknown tongues to fulfill the new birth of water and spirit. It doesn't stop there, we must keep our salvation by living a holy and separated lifestyle by following the examples found in the epistles. Read the book of Acs if you want to know how the Apostolic Church should really be. Don't call yourself Apostolic if you don't completely follow the doctrine of the Apostles.
