I do agree you guys have the best vanguard. With that said, while the hunter is good (invisibility, arc blade, trip mines) I don't think they would work for me, and I don't see the overall AMAZINGNESS of the hunter. Did my first nightfall, and dang, I couldn't see passing it with a hunter on the team. My team was 28 defender titan (me) 30 defender and 30 sun singer warlock. We each helped a great deal. Because of the void burn as well as the boss having void weapons :/ the defender was great as my friend and I would pop a bubble every minute or so and hammer the boss. Yes, we died, but we had a great deal of use in this take, because the boss would other wise 2 shot you. My friend the sun singer would self revive if needed, so we didn't have to worry too much about him dying since he could some back. Frankly, I don't see how a hunter would be useful. Marksmen wouldn't be great as a sniper with void would do much more damage especially with crits. A blade dancer wouldn't be helpful either, sure they can go invis, but that's not all that helpful when you're seen and two shotted. Noe, hear me out. I never said hunters were bad, I just said that in this circumstance, I don't see how a hunter would be the go to class for this mission. Hunters are very useful. Take Croats raid. Hunters beat it solo first. I have been saved (as. A titan) by a hunters arc blade or golden gun, but when it comes to team benefits, they are severely lacking, because they are supposed to be. That's the massive con about the hunter. They class them self is a great class, but when it comes to team work, the hunter is never a class I would choose instantly to help me with a raid. On the other side of the spectrum, the titan is a great team class. WoD is extremely useful in any team situation, and striker is a great aoe class that can clear out a room of adds quickly, saving your teammates if they are in trouble. But, they are a very bad solo class. Sure, striker is a OK solo class, but it doesn't have the perks to make it perfect for solo. finally, the warlock. The warlock is versatile, not as much as the titan, but more then the hunter. Nova bomb is just a ranged FoH, which makes the void walker a more ranged class but still a decent aoe class. Meanwhile, sun singer is the opposite. It is very up close if using radience, because of the fast melee attacks, as well as the grenades. Then there's the self revive, which is help full in solo, as you get more then one chance, and its helpful to make sure you don't have to restart the nightfall as you can survive a death. All in all Titan Striker: melee based Defender: support based Warlock Voidwalker: ranged based Sun singer : support based Hunter Marksmen: range based (no doubt) Blade dancer: melee based If you think about it, if each class gets one more subclass which I hope they do, titans will get a ranged solar class, warlocks will get a melee arc class, and hunters will get a support void class. With the exception of warlock,if my suspicions are true, melee classes are arc, support are void, and ranged are solar. Comments?

I could go on. Three of the great heroes are still alive. The great warlocks have all gone mad or missing. As far as I know, the great hunters you listed are nearly all dead, except Cayde, and he would rather be in the wild than coordinating his fellow guardians. Hunters belong in the wild, fighting stealthily and precisely. Warlocks belong learning the secrets of the Golden Age and the Traveler. But the front line is where the titans must stand. Each class has its role, but when the alien races that surround us converge to wipe us from existence, the titans will be at the forefront. I respect the hunter, and the warlock, but my place is with the titan orders. There is no master class, because without the scouting missions of the hunters, we would know nearly nothing of the solar system and its horrors. Same with the warlocks. Without their studies we would not have the fusion rifle, and much knowledge that has been regained would've never been relearned. And when the Fallen attacked at Twilight Gap, titans were the ones who held the line and commanded the City wall's defense batteries, and at the Battle of Six Fronts it was four titan orders who held six approaches against another incursion. We all need each other. Cooperate with the warlocks amd you'll learn more that Blink, and cooperate with the titan and you'll have yourself a human shield.

This is where my Hunter tale comes in. Prepare for your skills to be jealous. PvP, Control. Point is neutral and unmanned and I want it. I break away from the safety of my group and go for it. As I approach the point, I spot on my radar a red marker to my left. A quick glance shows the shape of a Titan sprinting towards my target. As we get closer, he notices that we are travelling the same speed and that a ground smash will wipe me out. He jumps in the air above the point and activates his super, timing it perfectly. SMASH!!!! But wait, something's wrong. What's wrong Titan man? You didn't hit anyone? You wasted your super and didn't have a plan B? Whilst this punk was in mid air, I jumped too, activating my own super. Well, Mr Titans, the pause in the air whilst my bladedancer heats up was just the right delay for me to watch you hit the floor beneath me and to see your panic begin. I land right next to him and break his life with the speed of a puma. He dies and I take the point, smug as f**k but also panicking that someone might snipe me, ruining my 'xbox record that' moment.

He is the strongest (physically) of the Vanguard Masters. He (obviously) is a Titan. Lord Saladin. Yet another hero of the BTG. He supplies you with powerful gear that will help you reach max level. He gives you the entertaining gift of the Iron Banner. He too is a Titan. Kabr, the Legionless. He sacrificed himself deep in the Vault of Glass to create the Aegis. Without the Aegis, you would fail before you even had a chance. He was a Titan. (Not like you Hunters are any good in the Vault of Glass) What did Hunters do for the safety and protection of Guardians? Jack shit.
