I doubt that... I ended up skipping her inadvertently (the team I was doing it with beat Ir Yut the next day before I rejoined for Crota) and still got the fusion rifle, the ship, 3 shards, and the emblem/shader from my Crota drop. It's actually the most I've gotten from him in my three runs.
