If your on psn I'll do what I can. Askennedy. Operating under the asumption that you're good but deaf rather than awful and deaf.

Ps4 RoboticsElite Clan will take you! RICKDAHUNTER is founder and says it's all good! Anyone with any problem is welcomed! We will work it out.

The messaging system is slow and hindering but it's still an option if ever necessary But trust me they aren't an absolute necessity 100% time You'll pick up what you need to do pretty easily through trial and error and if you can find a team that will work with you on that Consider yourself golden

Edited by Darth Eastman: 12/22/2014 12:05:44 AMBest things have been mentioned setup your phone/pc nearby use messenger or Skype to your advantage and communicate that way or at worst msg each other privately here on the app it's a way to tell people tactics

I feel for you, was in a crota raid the other night and we had a deaf guy that we couldn't communicate with. If it was vog it wouldn't be an issue because everybody knows what to do but we were trying new stuff and not being able to tell somebody that the plan is changing is a big problem. If you had a way for one guy to chat with you via IM then it would probably be ok if you were with a good squad with experience. But playing with randoms with little experience and throwing a deaf person into the mix makes it just that much tougher, sucks but that's just the truth. Hopefully there is a squad with experience on this forum willing to take you and just message you what the plan is and what to do and you can get it done, but destinylfg might be a problem with people not wanting to take a deaf person.

Are you ps4?
-
I'd offer to help but I'm not familiar with the raids enough. Personally I don't think its an issue as long as you have a couple of competent players to follow through it.
-
What system are you on? I'm on Xbox one. If there's anyone else on the x1 that would like to help out, post here. I'd be honored to rock the VoG with you. Beforehand I'll just message you the goal for each section. It'll be easy as pie!

Add me gt Ant0nnnnn Xbox one

Deafness is OP, Bungie pls nerf!

Bump to help you out

They should just pick a teammate and you shadow them. I don't care if people have mic as long as they work together. I've completed raid with mic-less people.
-
If your on 360 I'm running a raid Monday with a mute guy so we use s messenger app.
-
For the most part in my experience, raid teams only need 3 players with mics on. As long as those 3 players communicate, the other players can just follow along. Take Crota for example. 1 sword carrier and 1 person to call out Crotas health. Everyone else can just follow along and DPs or kill thralls.

I'll help you anytime bud, RobHaywood1989 is my PSN tag
-
It's not your fault A good team of players don't need constant communication to play well, they adjust to any situation
-
It's hard to get raid teams sometimes. However if you need raid teams there are forum threads who are always running a raid you can ask someone for a invite and explain your situation. As for doing the raid you can follow people's leads and just do what they do or ask someone what you need to do or how to do it. :) hope you find a team. -Sh3

Let people know your situation, console, and account name and I'm sure five people would be more than willing to help you get through the raid. I'd recommend possibly learning a bit about the mechanics of which raid you want to do as well if you haven't.
-
What system.
-
Hmm this is interesting. I have never raided, but I assume an experienced group could bring you with them. Maybe explain to you via message what your role will be? Maybe someone can offer to have you stick with them? I'm just throwing ideas out there.
