You guys and gals know what I'm talking about? When you load up the VOG and see a group full of 30s and 31s. You go to inspect their armor, and most of it is Vanguard Light 33.
"Have you done/beaten the hard raid before?"
"Yeah all the time!"
*[b]15 minutes later[/b]*
"How do we kill the Templar?"
"What's a gorgon?"
"What side is Venus?"
"There's a Conflux at Gatekeeper?!"
"Wait, those Harpies explode?"
"Why am I detained?!"
And my favorite: "There's no revives on hard?"
People. Please be honest. Personally, I [i]love[/i] explaining the mechanics of the VOG to new people. I love helping VOG virgins through it for the first time. It's awesome.
But please don't lie about it. If you say you know what you're doing, we won't explain it because we assume you've done it.
Now, what happens if you say you've never done it and get kicked from a group? Well that's a good thing. Because those people have no tolerance and patience (and time). You don't want to raid with people like that. You want a group that is forgiving, loose, chill, and can help others.
I love helping people. But please, don't lie. It makes it easier on everybody.

Also... I can now tell how good a group of newbs are based on issues with praetorians at beginning. What kills me are the -blam!-ing weapons! Jesus... PEOPLE STOP LEAVING YOUR GOOD STUFF ON OTHER TOONS! Ahhhhhhh so upsetting. Dumbasses that have VEX, fatebringer, hunger of Crota Was doing hard raid with Vanguard 274 attack Murmur Whatever rocket!

have yet to come across these people. I only do the raid with friends, so whenever I decide to raid with someone on the LFG website, I better hope not to run into these people.

I know... For the love of god !! Just stay in normal mode! Figure that out first before you go into hard. And also be honest... I was in group... Couldn't get past confluxes! I wanted to vomit! All these scrub warlocks Rez and keep dying! It's not funny ... It sucks!

I will also be doing the raiding party achievement (finish a raid with all clan members) Post here and I will open a clan and we can get this achievement. Please be level 28+ and have a mic. I am happy to take inexperienced players through.

Lol that happened to me. I was with a group of all 31s and 30, thinking it'll be an easy run on hard then we get to Templar and people start dying and they are like, there's no revives? I just smh. Then they started trying to do all the old cheesing methods. Needless to say that group broke up quick.

Agreed! I love being the tour guide for new players but way too often I've had people flaunt "I've done this a million times" and those people seem to be asking the most stupid questions that anyone who has done it even one and carried could tell you.

I ran into a "wait theirs no revives on hard?" Yesterday during atheon cp lol I still don't know what side is Venus or Mars I just look on the radar and if it shows their arrow of the map I know to open that portal haha. Can u blame them tho? They feel like their not gonna find a group if they admit it's their first time

2 RepliesI did beat VoG on hard and plenty of time on easy. Crota now twice. Guess what I got? Gauntlets from VoG and shards from Crota. Some people just get -blam!-ed. So I was pleased to see you can now lvl up from the vendors. I hated being stuck at 29 because of luck... See it from my point of view, it helps.

I know what you mean, but I usually play with people on the hard list i've played a few times. But luckily I usually have a friend that leaders the team and tells the strategy anyways

5 RepliesRan a few groups through the vault and some 30s dont know what they are doing. Or they have stupid ideas for beating the temp, gatekeeper or atheon. So many people talk the talk, but when it comes to it. They die over and over again calling bullshit, when they are the bullshit! Also the people who run relics by hurting one gatekeeper to near death, jumping out, killing the other gatekeeper. Just to jumo back in the first side for a quick gatekeeper kill, they need to stop! Solo mars, jump out with relic, jump in venus with one guy and run that relic. So easy!

I've encountered so many of these guys/gals on Destinylfg, and it really pisses me off when they have to lie about it. I asked them if they've done the raid before, and they say "Yep, a few times already". When we get to the Labyrinth they start trying to kill the Gorgons. When we wipe, I told them "Have you really done the raid?" suddenly they start leaving my fireteam one by one without saying a word. -blam!-

Man I did the gorgon maze for the first time the other day, I swear it would be easier alone lol I got that jumping bit with the platforms on my 3rd go, not bad I thought.
