...I was wrong. I didn't let you prove how amazing you truly are; how you strip your enemies apart even at the longest of ranges, how you stay calm and on target through your majestic bursts, or how you can out-snipe the best precision rifles with ease.
But now I've seen the light, you truly are a unique little snowflake.
In all seriousness, I've finally found a Pulse Rifle that I feel comfortable with and it is so awesome! I got a pretty damn good roll on it, so I can use it in almost all situations.
Has anyone else found the true power of the pulse?
Edit: My Pulse Rifle is Three Little Words with Red Dot-ORES, Rangefinder, Fitted Stock and Reactive Reload. It's an absolute beast.

I want to like pulse rifles but they just don't hit hard enough. Red death is alright, I find using them can get quite boring as well. Compared to the other weapon types they come up short imo

Edited by The Loathsome Dung Eater: 12/21/2014 8:23:21 PMI got Three Little Words from an engram and as far as pulse rifles go the stats and upgrades seem beast. Problem is I would have to fully upgrade it to see how it really performs and I haven't had a pulse rifle make me want to do that yet. It's tempting but I'm an auto/scout rifle and hand cannon guy.

Red Death is legit my 300 dmg pre-patch death will three burst lvl 31s in IB. It takes 4 bursts to the body to drop them. It's accurate quick and causes a regen after every kill. Though I'm about to retire my Suros and Red Death and start seeking legendary alternatives. I have too many exotic specials I want to start experimenting with.

I've been a Pulse Rifle fan ever since I played with my maxed out Red Death in Iron Banner 2.0. Absolutely beastly. I respect all Pulse Riflers.

Got 123 Syzygy from an engram. It's weird like a really high rate of fire low impact pulse rifle. It isn't great but it's certainly interesting if you have a good trigger finger. Wish it had even just the slightest damage buff because it gets most people in the crucible down to like a sliver before they kill me.

Love Three Little Words, but the ROF is just to slow...I can't get used to it, maybe its cuz I used the Timepiece for so long
-
I, too, love Pulse rifles. However, I had wandered to handcannons with The Devil You, then Scout Rifles when I got Vision of Confluence. Then I finally bought a Vanguard Pulse Rifle, Super Pox VLO and my passion reignighted.. Finally completed BadJuJu. Love strengthened. Now I have Red Death, and Up For Anything is gonna start collecting dust. Thee Little Words...looks freaking AWESOME stats wise. You got one hell of a drop, Guardian! Enjoy and persist in Rat Tat Tat!!!

Edited by Stickman Al: 12/21/2014 8:11:35 PMI was doing quite well in the last iron banner with strange suspect, but that only goes up to 300 damage.

I've got one at 331 but I don't find its any better than my VoC. 18 clip mag means I'm reloading every 6 trigger pulls
-
I am using same pulse rifle, no one ever expects pulse rifle. Aim for upper chest and let it climb.
-
Pulse Rifles suck lol
-
Oh that IS nice. Crucible weapon I guess For the longest time Strange Suspect was my baby. No recoil, 42 round mag, packed a punch, and had all the range.
-
Red death has caused hate mail to be sent my way in the crucible. :p
-
I bought Three Little Words so I could own a 331 primary... Pretty mean little machine, I just haaaaate the Superman paint job... My Cloak for some weapon-shaders, Bungie!

I Pulse Rifle when good it kills great and fast and great feels. I love it.

Super Pox VLO was a good gun. Praedyths Timepiece is pretty good too. I like its brisk pulse rate 😀

I use red death

Edited by DjNormal: 12/21/2014 7:47:15 PMI really want to love pulse rifles. Their non-crit damage is atrocious however, which makes them useless against shielded enemies or those with no crit location (Minotaurs). I do love the stability. But really, they've got less range, less punch and less ammo than scouts. Up close, you can crit from the hip with a pulse rifle, but that's not saying much if the first two shots don't. Maybe I'm just missing the method for using them. I've leveled a pulse rifle in 1.0 and 1.1 and I maxed bad juju (and I'm getting it again via bounty). So it's pretty obvious I'm giving them a fair chance to impress me. If bad juju was an 8 shot scout, I would never use anything else, ever. :/ I think they should have at least as many bursts as a scout rifle has individual rounds. They need a boost to non-crit damage and then they'd feel like the middle ground weapons they are supposed to be. Like I said though, if I'm doing it all wrong, let me know what the deal is, I really want to love my bad juju.

I started with pulse rifles originally. Then moved to auto rifles. I got three little words just after the DLC came out. It is a great gun, I've been using it lots lately. Pushing me back to where I started, with pulse rifles. Now I just need to finish the bad juju bounty.

Red Death is like my favorite weapon
-
Coiled hiss is my only legendary primary so I just started using it all the time. Really like it- first pulse rifle I've really put any time into
-
Pulse Rifle Master Race.
-
I used the super PLO whatever all the time before I got VoC. Yesterday I was super lucky and got Red Death during crotas end. Back to the pulse rifles :D

The Jad Bubu is cray cray good

I found a blue pulse with max stability lol im now trying it out in crucible. Hits 37 damage per crit.
