The only people defending Mythoclast..
Are the people who cheesed it, without this gun you wouldn't see them in PvP whatsoever.
For PvP this gun needs a heavy nerf, if you disagree then you cheesed the boss. End of story.

I just got it the week after they changed atheon to make timeshifts target random players. Stop generalizing players because ur ass is butthurt that you dont have this beast ass gun yet. I havent even lvled mine up because im waiting to see if Xur will ever sell a 2.0 version.

1 ReplyI have 3 from legitimate atheon runs and don't use it in PvP. There are much better options available. I would need the Vex buffed before considering it above my SUROS or other ARs. Maybe they should remove PvP from the game so they can devote resources to making more content for the main game and eliminate all of these threads from the forum. Alternately you could rank up try the raid and get one yourself. If you are each using a vex then it can't be OP. It then becomes a test of skill. If you are mad because you don't have one I would suggest hitting rank 30 and running the VoG on hard mode.

5 RepliesI have it. It dropped twice off of Atheon for me. I NEVER cheesed Atheon. I don't use the mythoclast because it sucks. Why would it need to be nerfed? There are so many other way better guns. The only thing Vex is good for right now is 1-1 medium range engagements. It blows everywhere else.

Since when is Atheon hard to kill legit? Am I missing something? If you want the vex go and get it, it's not that hard.

I never cheesed atheon. I beat him over 30 times. I finally received my vex the week before the dlc came out and I've been playing since day one. The vex can easily be beaten with precision long range shots. Like handcannons and scout rifles. The vex isn't as crazy good as people say. I wreck with my hawkmoon way more then with my vex. The vex got an upgrade for pve making it pretty good there but it got nerfed already in pvp and yet you people still complain

So quit your whining about the damn gun ! Should they nerf the gallahorn for having tracking rounds ? I consider the vex mytho, the biggest noob gun in the game. Hand cannons take more skill than that thing.

#satire It's really not that great, much better alternatives, three right off the bat are straight-up available from your tower Vendors (New Monarchy (Vanq VIII), Crucible (For The People), and Vanguard (Not "...---...", the other one I forgot the name of.)

VoG has been out for months now if you DONT have a MC then wtf have you been doing? Raids are the end game. MC is an end game raid item. If you get to end game and the gun that drops is crap what was the point? Stop crying over spilt milk and get better. Nerfing guns the community worked its ass off to get is counter productive and doesn't improve pvp. Except maybe for this guy since crying on the forums is his answer to fighting better gamers. Maybe everytime you enter a pvp match bungie should make it so everyone fights you barehanded I bet you'd like that.

I got mine legitly without cheesing and it wasn't until like a week before DLC release and to be honest I only really use it in IB or getting fusion rifle bounties so I'm defending it aswell cause it was a gun some of us had to play the vault 30something times to get whether it was threw the cheesing method or not no one has control over the stupid reward system this game has, so to nerf it would only be a whiny selfish decision. I do admit the hun is annoyingly OP in PvP and eh in PvE but the constant complaining is far more annoying.
