A friend of mine bought Destiny two weeks ago. He asked me how to get to a high level. I told him to do the story missions on the highest difficulty he could, check back at the tower between each story mission, complete bounties, max out weekly marks and I said he'd be there in no time. Boy was I right, after 75 hrs vs my 600 hrs we're in the same boat. What a waste of 600 hrs on my end. This is why I don't play much anymore.

IKR, with the new dlc and gear the new players are reaching max level faster than those of who been here since Day 1. It's especially annoying when they reach max level and adopt a elitist, know-it-all atitude.

Yeh, all those public events and daily heroics for obsolete upgrade mats... Oh well. Now I only grind to level gear and for Eris rep. I don't bother much with bounties that take too long to complete.

I just can't convince myself that its worth booting up. I wasted so many hours upgrading exotics, all for nothing. They're all obsolete. I had over half of the exotics in the game, all the primaries, all of them maxed. Then The Dark Below comes out and everyone who just bought the game is just as well off as me, the guy who played the same repetitive missions/strikes/raids over and over to get ahead. Even now the new gear that I do have maxed out doesn't seem to be any better or worse than the old gear. I've always felt underpowered throughout the whole game. Its all just so pointless. I just hope ESO doesn't get pushed back again. That's going to be the saving grace of my wasted money(this piece of shit $500 Xbox One that barely functions).
