Because they are wrong or because their opinion differs from your own? I played the game extensively and came to the conclusion the reviewers came to weeks before they published... the reviewers only serve as a backup to common knowledge at this point
-
Because it's the opinion of one person who played the game for a couple hours one day Probably actually enjoyed himself but to get more views they just join on the destiny hate train because thats the popular thing to do
-
Gaming journalists in general are praising almost every single game out there (even when they shouldn't). So when they consider a game bad it means something.
-
Because its popular thats why they do it.......they are giving the haters what they want
-
Could you please make a bit more sense? Every AAA games are popular by default at some point, and they all get excellent reviews or good one at least, but not for this DLC. What I mean is that they are very easy to satisfy (CoD reviews are the best examples) so theres a problem when they don't like something.
-
How can you even judge a cod dlc to this dlc? Wow 4 mp maps hard to screw up.......now we get 4 mp maps 2 strikes 4 story missions and a raid FOR THE SAME PRICE but somehow bungie did bad
-
I was only refering to CoD reviews, the yearly franchise reviews themselves always being good to great even though its the same recycled game with a few hours of campaign, new guns and maps. Comparing those 2 DLC is not possible since its not the same game format. Destiny is more of an MMO type, where you're always progressing your characters, thus not enjoying the complete game if not buying its dlc. But in CoD you're just not playing all the maps but the game remains the same. If you compare both content though you're right that we are getting a bit more in Destiny, that's true. But to begin with, CoD map packs are a real joke in terms of money/content ratio and even my imagination cannot find a reason why they have so much success. To that you must add that when a purchasable content gets released in a game like Destiny, normally you get new systems or an overhaul of those existing and this time we got absolutely nothing worth talking about in that department.

He's missing the point. Usually there's at LEAST mixed reviews. When the vast majority...and even ign...says your dlc is a rip off, it carries more weight.
