What does deleting and recreating your character do which would be considered an exploit?

You can stash you 20+ gear and run the raid for multiple drops. Getting 3 raid runs a week while everyone else gets one is an exploit.

Assuming you're running it on each of your chars, absolutely nothing. But if you had three locks, and put all your raid gear/strangechange/drops on one, your main, that would be exploitative.

Hmm. I really don't see it. They can get geared up faster I guess. But, who cares? This game isn't a competition, it's suppose to be fun. People who only play for gear don't be here long anyway, they will get bored and leave.

You're right, it's not a race, and its supposed to be for fun, but when righteous 32s won't let you into a raid because you haven't been cheesing your gear/bounties, then we'll see who's having fun. It just sucks knowing the good guys finish last in destiny as well.

I apparently presented that cliche too soon, and I never play with pugs. I have a solid raid group we run every week. Downed crota, no cheese. But I refuse to manipulate the game in such a way that would expedite my advancement at the cost of the shame of cheating. If you have three of the same class, and feed all of your mats to your main, you are a dirty, groveling peasant and do not deserve to be at level cap. Same with you -blam!-ers that double bounty.

^another guy who's mad because he doesn't have friends or because he doesn't take the TIME to achieve the light level he desires. Exploits don't take time, exploits are the opposite of time consuming. Making new characters over and over is time consuming almost like a job. U people are upset because they can afford to spend that much time huh?

Um, I'd say stacking 3 of the same characters takes almost a third of the time it would take for a legitimate player. Whoa, see what I did there. Math. Some might even call that common sense. Friends and time are in no short supply, but apparently integrity and solidarity are.

What? I'm not even sure if your argument is making sense at this point. I'm not sure how your not getting that making 3 of the same characters takes [i]less[/i] time than making [i]one[/i] of each character. So if anybody doesn't have time to spend, its the people that are triple dipping. Unfortunately, I lack the sphincter dexterity to appropriately convey my ideas, so I will continue to not speak from my arse.

I'll dumb it down for ur simple brain. You spend 30 hours to level 3 different characters I spend 30 hours to level 3 of the same character. We both spent 30 hours. Need more? You needed to do the raid 3 times to get all the pieces for your character I did it once and got everything I needed. Look at the weekly update from DeeJ. You'll notice they talk directly about the subject, they state how many actual players have played and how many characters those players have made and how many hours we spent on them. That info is highlighted in [b]BOLD[/b]. This game is centered around d making you spend more time. If we could get all our pieces and shards in a few days of casually playing ppl would've stopped playing the first month. Random is set In place for a reason, remember the spokeswoman for the random loot in destiny. She said it was like the lottery, in a lottery the only way to increase your odds is to play more. Now to sum up your stupidity, you think spending 100 hours deleting and replaying the campaign is easier than doing a raid once a week? No its way less time consuming. This game wants you to spend more time but if you don't want to, then log in every Tuesday and Friday. If u don't want to wait, then log in everyday and play all day. It's a tradeoff. This shit isn't rocket science. Ur just narrow minded

How is making one character, getting him to 30+, and running the raid, then making a second class, getting it to twenty, and then swapping gear to instantly be able to run again, and then again on a third not taking less time than making a raid worthy character of each class? If you think grinding through the storys mission in an hour or two is admirable work, as opposed to players who master the game, and take all that it has to offer, and do not manipulate the system to their ends. 30hours my ass. Wtf do you math. Your an idiot if you think making 3 different raid toons takes the same amt of time as making 3 clones.

You could e just as easily created 3 warlocks then maxed the warlock out then deleted 2 of them then made 2 hunters and so on. Ur butt hurt because someone has something in a video game that u dont. It takes the same amount of time just at a different time. If u play for over 4 hours a day then maybe u should spend a week powerleveling multiple copies and tell me how easy it is. Until the. Stfu.

Umm, no the time it takes to get gear is the same no matter what you do, the odds are random, only thing u control is when u do it. That's for starters. Another flaw with ur OPINION, it if I made 5 of the same character and lvled them to 20 BY MY SELF it would take well over 50-100 hours unless u play crucible. Then the time it takes to actually repeat the shit u did only adds to that time. Now here's the logic here that you are missing, a person who spent 100 hours grinding 5 characters still spent 100 hours regardless of the reason. A person could obtain the same thing with only 10 hours with the right amount of luck. They put the cap on the weekly raid and nightfall to prevent people from getting rewards every 10-30 minutes. You really think in ur small mind that Bungie cares if a person spends 20+ more hours just to get those rewards? No I'll tell u why, random means random. Only way to increase ur odds with a system centered around d random is by spending MORE TIME. That's the whole purpose. So those players constantly creating new characters are actually doing exactly what Bungie wants, and that's log more hours.
