Wrong. Control is not domination and you don't want hold 3 zones. You want two zones so you know where the enemy is spawning. Your teammates run off because they know where the enemy is spawning so they can establish a spawn trap. Camping your flag is not a good strategy. Cap two, go towards the flag you don't own but don't push too far and pick off enemies as they spawn. This way you won't get shot in the back.

That would be nice, if my teammates would actually do it; what happens in practice is they fail to establish anything and get picked off individually, lose any kind of cohesion, and the other team takes our zones (and zone multipliers) away.
