A dumb idea to slow "multiple characters"

Ok, this seems like grasping at straws to me. So you have an issue with someone starting the game over again and again to keep playing the raids and strikes? Really? That's one of the lamest things to complain about I have seen in a long time.

If there was, maybe all the people complaining would have a small point, but there isnt. Next it will be take the rng out and luck and give everyone the exact same drops for the exact same missions on the exact same weeks. It's all silly really. Some people play video games 7 hours a day and some play 30 minutes a day. I believe that the people putting all the time into it should have something to show for it, other wise people would play just till nightfall and weekly was done and call it quits. Sitting at 30 vanguard and 20 crucible I need some sort of grind so I can still enjoy playing this game that I love.

4 RepliesWho does this? Outside of a handful of rewards all I see is having to relevel your classes and get a small number of minor rewards.

1 ReplyHow the hell is it an exploit..? It takes about 8 hours to level one back to 20. People have to put in a lot of work and they might not get the gear they want in the end so they repeat the process. It's more work for them so stop giving a shit what other people do and let them play how they want.

I don't do this personally, but if someone wants to grind out and do that, why do u have a problem with it?? Why do so many people on here have this hatred and jealousy toward others fir almost any reason. "He has 3 of the same character" "he uses a sniper" "he uses a bubble" "he can do the raid more than 3 times because he erases his character and re-levels it" STFU and just play and worry about yourself.

why would they ever do this? you do realize that deleting and releveling characters equals more playtime? thats exactly what they want. the system in place either makes you wait a week to enjoy yourself again or grind new characters. you choose.

it's part of the game, quit crying I have one of each characters because that's how I want to play my game someone wants to grind out 2 characters a week for a chance at extra weekly, nightfall, and Raid - who am I to stop them? who am I to tell them how to play THEIR game? it's not an exploit, quit your whining

Oh dear, why are you so butt hurt at what others choose to do with a game they paid for. There are several things gamers do in every game I play that I don't agree with but Im dammed if Im going to waste my time and energy coming up with what I think is a solution to stop them. Your like a nosey neighbor looking over the fence, if my mine was doing that I'd smack him off pretty quick....

I feel bad for the folks who feel obligated to spend all their time remaking heros and doing the double bounty glitch late at night as well. Do they ever sleep? Poor guys. Must be a real burden.

Why is this a problem, and why is it an "exploit" ? *before you rant check the profile, I have 1 level 31 character, 1 level 2 and 1 level 1 toons* If a player wants to run nightfall 3 times, and has 3 Titans so they can share armor and weapons.... why not? Why is this a problem? There is no player economy. There is no harm to anyone if another player does this. In fact you benefit by having players run this content more often giving you more chances to get it done yourself as you will have an easier time finding people to run it with. You [i]benefit[/i] from their multiple attempts. If there ever will be player trading or an auction house... then I still say let them do this. If a player is putting in the time to run weekly 3 times, then they have earned 3 times the reward of someone who only ran it once. Not fair? They put in the time, they earned the reward. Period.

Even if you are using multiple characters to play the game… you still have to PLAY the game in order to get stuff. The better question might be, why are there not more ways to get experience and gear drops? Destiny is Bungie's mouse maze and I give props to any who have found ways to beat the maze.

Worry about it when Bungie doesn't give such a short time, and stupid RNG system to boot, to get there and enjoy it. I don't like it either but under the circumstances I don't blame these people one bit.

I don't do this, but I'm curious as to why you care enough to post this. So, why? It takes work leveling another character up to 20.

Then it would be perfect; everyone would have equal amounts of drudgery!:" Hey, let's take it to the logical next step; every time we swap weapons between characters through the vault, we should have to re-earn the experience and level them up again. No more sharing weapons!

Can they just not let you make 3 of the same characters? It -blam!-ing kills the game people boast about being level 32. You have 3 of the same character how arn't you level 32 yet.
