It becomes an "exploit". Just because people have no lives and stay up until 2 am to get extra bounties or have the time to delete and re-level characters it doesn't mean they're cheating, they just have more time to dedicate to the game. Jesus.

I prefer 3 Titans and I'm in the process of collecting armour for them all. Just because they're not wearing it and it's in the vault isn't an exploit. I have Titans because I don't like glide or triple jump. The main difference for me between the characters is the jump. You can also do Nightfall 3 times, just with different jumps and specials each time. It's a pointless argument.

Wouldn't a better solution be to address the reason why players would want to keep making new characters to begin with? Rather than trying to put additional caps on gathering resources in the only way most players have, they should instead try lowering the cost of materials needed or make them slightly easier to acquire. I for one am still holding out for them to pair up players for the weekly and nightfall strikes. I would say leave the raid out but pairing players for the weeklies would make it easier to gauge players by their skill and make forming good parties for the raid smoother than using a 3rd party site to do what the game already has the capacity to do in its coding. By doing all that, more players could find people to play with in game and form teams to do the raid and that would give people access to the best farming method for materials and all the only other ways besides RNG in the crucible to get exotics. Basically to sum all that up: Make it easier to access the endgame content in game and players will be able to naturally find what they need and won't need to turn to an exploit. Players may still choose to use the exploit anyways but it won't really be worth the effort when playing the game normally actually provides everything you need with the proper amount to effort.

They paid for the game. If they want to spend the time completely leveling a new character then ok. Who cares? It doesn't affect anyone else if they put in extra time to do it.

Reset armour/weapon perks/experience everytime a different character equips them. That would be fun

1 ReplyMaking 3 characters doesn't breaks the system. We could [i]all[/i] have 3 characters, it's just how you wanna play it. Some people don't have time to grind up other classes, meanwhile some do it just to get to the lvl 20 mark, or some really just like the class and want it in diffrent race/gender. I hate this "earn" and "not earned " player bs that's going on this forum. Using exploits / glitches etc that I can see being "not earned" but if your playing the same class, and done the raid 3 times, hell take the items with pride, you've just completed destinys hardest challenge 3 times, not bad. Making the same character is kinda normal in MMO'S you know, tho this game [i]isnt[/i] an mmo but it's ground rules are there. Let's ban glimmer farmers while we are at it, since they don't really "earn" their glimmer by doing "Excluzion zone" over & over, since in the end it's glimmer that make you powerful.

Quit bitching why would they stop players spending even more time on there game, things like cheesing croda or having multiples of the same account don't ruin the game people on the forums like you do! If they have time to reset a character and rerun the raid and weeklys why not give them props. You are just mad 1. You didn't get no new raid gear 2. You are just butt hurt and wanna bitch 3. You are to lazy to do it your self. If someone is willing to reset an account and spend 6 hours getting it to 20 again to have another chance at raid gear or what ever the reason is, so be it let them and get the -blam!- off the forums bitching about it probably had enough time to make your third hunter and get his gear in the time you been bitching on here
