i did crota once legit ... but when i was looking for a capable party to win it legit on the forum, all i got were replies like "noone wants to carry you" and didnt get any help from the self proclaimed pro's today i found out about the new method to play , it made my day , for the first time crota raid has become a fun social activity where everyone was welcome to play wheter hes a 30 or 31 and everyone enjoyed it , it was a great experience reminds me of good old days of vog hard where 28s were playing along 29s on atheon hard and everyone had fun , but then bungie stepped it and suddenly it was "30s only" and all others got left behind its funny but also sad at the same time that a bug/glitch makes the game more social and rewarding than a fix

  • I understand where you're coming from completely but I would like to counter. In my opinion, there is significantly more enjoyment to be had by working together and accomplishing the grueling task of taking Crota down legit. My suggestion would be to find a group or two you click with and try to run the raid with them every time. The teamwork increases every raid and the time spent decreases drastically the more times you do it. I've done this with this raid and have met some really cool people from around the world. We set times ahead of time to do the raid so everyone is on. It is an awesome experience. But that's my opinion/suggestion, you are entitled to play however you want to.

  • Well, I think it was social for a different reason. It was a relatively laid back experience. Remember that all those 30's were probably in there at 29 at some point. So, they have no room to talk, but raiding isn't a social part of a game. It's the most serious and trying. Had no exploits existed 29's, and what 30's that weren't elitists, would have banded together, fought the raid, and overcome at some point. That journey would have been awesome. Trust me. I know from experience what finally getting your clear on a hard fight with a group of friends feels like. But instead everyone was used to clearing it with no problems and levels didn't matter, as they should. So, when it got fixed they became elitists because they wanted as few problems as possible so as to clear as they did before. This is part of what clutching and exploiting does. It muddles the games and the community. Fights that are made easy by glitches, when fixed, tear that old community appart.
