I bought 300 heavy ammo synthesis for 60 strange coin
I bought a lot of heavy ammo now each character has over 100. I expect to not run out until the next DLC

I keep 60 to 80 on all my characters and I have another 40-80 in my vault at all times. I never ever have to worry about heavy ammo.
