Frustrating that I have to hold off leveling Gjallarhorn because I know when I upgrade it to keep it relevant I'm going to have to start over... But it means not getting to utilize it until Xur allows us to upgrade.

Ascendant materials are stupid easy to farm. If you dont just fully upgrade a gjally you are just lazy and selfish and don't care about your fireteam... Because the 300 gjally is the 2nd highest dps gun in the game only losing to 331 gjally.

It has nothing to do with laziness. You literally can not upgrade your gear until Xur allows you to. I would have upgraded my helmet when the DLC launched, but guess what? Old Barnacle Bitch refuses to allow me to upgrade it.

That's stupid garbage. That's being spiteful because someone is willing to put up with their spiteful game. What the hell is that? And don't give me the "Welcome to MMOs" excuse. MMOs have content and loot and dozens to hundreds of hours of gameplay. Destiny does not have those things.

No, getting one is lucky. Lazy is getting lucky enough to land a gjally then refusing to upgrade it in hopes that yout get something better. With that attitude i can see you getting gjally 2.0 in 3 months then not upgrading it cause you are waiting for house of wolves info. You got lucky now do your work and farm the materials and upgrade it. Prolly takes an hour max to get all the mats...

We have a guy who got 2 gjallahorns in the week before expansion and won't level one for the meantime. Do I blame him? No. Do I resent him? a little bit. I got one and leveled it in a day just to help the fireteam. At the end of the day it's a video game and one should enjoy it how they choose though.

When your tears become an exotic shard to do the final upgrade then I'll do it... Until then I'll wait and swap it for the new Gjallarhorn with upgraded base damage and continue leveling unfriendly giant for when I want to run an exotic in primary or secondary...

It never needs ascendants. Duh only 1 exotic shard and a lot of planet mats.

I have upgraded enough for tracking rounds but have been swapping to unfriendly giant when turning in bounties or picking up public rewards. I would love to go Wolfpack but not if I have to start over next week, or maybe the week after that, or arhrjfkfkkfkrbrbrvrbkfkfkr!!!!
