I know you guys all played Battlefront. Don't lie.
What were some of your favorite memories with Battlefront? Or any SW game, I don't mind.
Mine was I beat the living crap out of my brother on Endor with the Ewoks and he threw his controller across the room and left. He was trying to tell me clones were better. Pfft.

I remember one time I was playing on Yavin IV, I was on a speeder bike as an imperial soldier; my bro was on the rebels' side. He had a homing rocket launcher and fired a missile at me. I managed to speed off just in time to figure out that missiles and speeder bikes go at the exact same speed... I could see the missile behind me, literally right behind the bike while I was speeding away. Eventually I slowed down just a bit and ka boom. Fun times, much screaming and laughing.

Space battles were the shit. My brother and I found a glitch where you could walk on top of a star destroyer without dying. We played a game where one would have to hide somewhere, and the other would have to swoop down and cream them with his starfighter
-
I always loved the space battles! And the playlist on Mos Eisley where you only played as a Jedi/Sith/Bounty Hunter.

2 words:
Award Rifle
Plus 2 more words
ignorant brother
Made my day much more amusing

Space battles in BF2 were amazing.

"During the waning hours of the Clone Wars, the 501st Legion was discreetly transferred back to Coruscant. It was a silent trip... We all knew what was about to happen... What we were about to do... Did we have any doubts? Any private traitorous thoughts? Perhaps, but no one said a word. Not on the flight back to Coruscant, not when Order 66 came down, and not when we marched into the Jedi Temple... ...Not a word..."

There were a couple things that i really enjoyed about the game, like being a droideika (probably spelled wrong) and boosting around the map, or being able to recruit people in the field and walk around as a 5 man firing squad. ...also war in the enemy ship's hangar :D
-
Mine was when I got the weapon upgrade for my very last class.
-
I remember in Battlefront 2, I would set the reinforcement count to maximum (800 maybe?), go to Hoth, and spend the next 1.5-2 hours wrecking rebel scum with an AT-ST, or holding back the Imperial advance at the rebel FOB
-
I owned some SW games back in the day, my favorites being SW: Bounty Hunter, SW: Battlefront and SW: Battlefront 2. My friend and I played SW: Battlefront almost everyday after school, ah...life was so simple back then....

Bespin Platforms Hnnngggghhhhh

I loved mods on BF2 PC
-
Using the jet pack load out and just flying around only using the unlimited ammo blaster pistol.
-
I can say without lying i haven't played battlefront :(
-
I'd just like to remind you guys that Dice is working on the next BattleFront.
-
In the first game, there were the infinite health Heros that the factions could get by controlling Tattooine. I had to fight one of those. I managed to kill it (and send my self about 15 feet backwards) by placing land mines at the end of the tunnels on the Bespin Platforms. Luke started falling into the planet, and nobody went to save him that time. There was a time (also Battlefront 1), I was camping in an AAT at the Tusken Camp of the Outskirts map. Got 112 kills, 0 deaths. I splitscreened against a friend, and I killed him 12 straight times before he gave up trying. In Battlefront II on Mustafar, I was down to the last respawn ticket (I hadn't died all game), and the other faction had 24. I had a single command post, out on the far side of the map near this really strange walkway to nowhere type thing. I clutched it, by killing 18 Rebel Troops, a heavy, and 5 snipers (four of which never fired a shot from a nearby platform, for reasons I couldn't tell). Managing to escape the Rhen Var Crystal Cave death pits from the inside.
I know you guys all played Battlefront.
Wrong.

Best thread of the forever. In SWB1 Playing on Bespin fuel station. When other team used Jedi commander use rocket class to blow invincible jedi off edge. In SWB2 Playing the gaem mode where it's nothing but main characters on the Mos Eisley map. All time favorite Star Wars game though was Republic Commando. The Squad mechanics are excellent by today's standards not to mention the game was and is fun as hell. Loved the characters (Scortch ftw) and the main commando gun that had the three different attachments is probably the coolest of any shooter.
-
Killing a jedi in SWBF1 without running them over or pushing them off the map. (Mines, rockets, grenades... somehow did it.)
-
Hated those Ewoks.
-
Edited by Cheesy: 12/19/2014 8:21:51 PMMy favorite memory has to be the Rhen Var maps in Battlefront I.
Since Star Wars troopers are now a topic
What's a Star Wars trooper?
-
I hope DICE makes it third person view.

I still have both battlefronts for my original xbong. They are soooo good
