6.0 out of 10.
And no, that's not a good score, if you get 60% on a test that's a D. Destiny got a D.
Edit 1: IGN is the most popular gaming news site in the world, look it up, so those of you saying nobody cares about them, a lot of people do.
Edit 2: Can't believe how many people say they hate the crap out of ign because the latter gives cod good scores, and then the former proceeds to call me biased. Think about it.
Edit 3: How many edits do I need to get the point across, I'm saying that IGN, a very popular review site, gave both Destiny and TDB much lower scores than excepted, which will impact sales. Now that I think about it, I probably shouldn't tell you so you can keep this post alive with your stupid comments. MUHAHAHAHA, YOU FOOLS, YEEEES KEEP ARGUING, YOUR STUPIDITY FEEDS MY POST
Edit 4(lol why does he edit so much): And the negative responses almost cease to appear. Man I love reverse psychology!

Edited by mma hoodie: 12/23/2014 8:04:19 PMCod gets a good review because they so not lie , they tell you it's a 90% Pvp game , they don't force you to buy the map packs to proceed in the game , even if you don't like cod the graphics gun play is all exactly as described and is good , destiny lied about to many things to even state so ing goes off of what destiny said and compared it to what they actually saw and played . If I tell you you just won the lottery and were promised 1 million dollars and you show up and get 100 dollars wouldn't you be disappointed ?
-
Lol at edit three. :P
-
Ign blows monkey balls. Only a 12 year old kid would care what they have to say
-
It's not just IGN, and that's the most troubling part, there are quite a few reviewers who've scored TDB at around the same number. The fanboys simply refuse to hear anything negative about the flagship they've spent so many hours trying to keep afloat with optimism and bias.
-
Who cares? Game reviewers have been losing their pull with gamers since COD Black Ops, they think we destiny for being repetitive, then they give the new CoD AW a 9/10? Lul sorry , I'll trust my opinion of what I like over theirs.
-
You are a gucking idiot ign get paid to review well so go -blam!- your neighbours cats or something

I think Destiny deserves a low score. If you look at the overall content. It really does feel like half of a game. If it wasn't for the few things that are fun to do with friends. I wouldn't even play. Bungie seems to have some outstanding ideas and concepts but are not executing on all cylinders. Believe it or not. I think a lot of it comes down to politics among the Bungie organization. I have seen comments from Bungie that would suggest they're going in a "direction" to be more pleasing to the masses. That's a fools game. The masses can't be tamed. they can't be pleased. My favorite is how they label Crucible Playlists as "competitive multiplayer". LOL
-
60 is a D? You probably get participation medals/trophies too.
-
Not trolling at all. I like ign and it's reviews have been pretty spot on with the games I've played (cods and halos mostly) I thought they were being generous giving TDB a 6/10. I'd have given it a 4 or 5. Was like an hour of extra content at best. Besides replaying the content which is (countless) hours of chores.
-
Why do I care what somebody else thinks about it? I'll form my own opinion, thanks.
-
Im in the ign clan, dark below gets an 8/10 from me.
-
Man, you are dumb not because your post but try make yourself look like a winner by your edits
-
I've never read a review of Destiny. I play games to see how I like them. Sometimes I regret it, like Watch Dogs which I lost interest in like 25 hours in. But I have over 200 in Destiny, so I'm fairly happy with my purchase regardless of what IGN says.
-
I've never really liked IGN none of their scores make sense and they seem to chat alot of shit while coming off as egotistical arseholes However, the women that occasionally appear on their videos are fit and I would most definitely cum over their faces OUT
-
Ign give lame game high rate
-
IGN sells reviews and non of them are honest and just about all of them are biased.

Edited by UberFonzie: 12/24/2014 7:19:09 PMIGNS ACTUAL REVIEW DIRECTLY FROM THE IGN WEBSITE: 7.8/10 Too much Thrall.

it's not a school exam. getting a 6.0 score on a 1-10 scale is not like getting a 60% on a test. That's like saying a girl that's a 7 is an ugly failure. And honestly, people are entitled to their opinion.
-
Edited by AegisEngine: 12/25/2014 12:45:56 AMSeems like a fair score to me. If anything, destiny feels more like an addiction.
-
Edited by Savage Baird LE: 12/23/2014 5:50:57 AMOne Direction is an extremely popular band, but that doesn't mean I have to like or care about them. IGN lost all credibility to me when the editor or something at the time uploaded a rant talking about how incredible the original Mass Effect endings were. Couldn't be more obvious that they were paid off. Oh, and that time they gave CoD: Ghosts an 8.8.

Ratings mean sod all it all comes down to you either like a game or you don't. If you want to find out about a game buy it and try it for yourself as the folk that give them scores may not have the same taste as you.
-
I'm glad I make my own decisions and don't let others' opinions form my own. I tried the Beta so I bought the game. I played the main game before buying the DLC only 3 days before release. I love this game. I haven't played a game this much in a long time.
-
And who the hell cares. You mean to tell me you're going to stop playing a game you love because of some loser site, makes sense. Has your butt always hurt or is this a new trend for you.?
-
Any self respecting consumer would rather beat their own mother than take anything ign says seriously.
-
I am not a COD fan. Never have been. Never will be. But here's the thing people. IGN gives them a good rating because COD DOES WHAT ITS ADVERTISED TO DO. It is a 99% based PVP game. They don't talk shit like Bungie did with TDB. They swore up and down, new content, better story telling, this and that. Which were all lies. The only reason why Bungie is getting away wit this is because everyone sees the potential with destiny. They keep seeing dev interviews saying, "were listening and NEXT time it'll be better. Blah blah blah." And we keep trying to trust them and keep holding on. The HoW DLC is pretty much going to be the factor of what happens with the playerbase. They need to really think this one through. Stop going by their "numbers" and start going by what their playerbase actually wants. People have been asking for more vault space since the first WEEK of the launch. And they haven't done a single thing about it. Bungie controls their own Destiny. And it's not looking good.

We all know IGN is crap.
